Submissions You can submit runs here on the Submissions tab of this page. We ask runners to submit their runs individually. In case you want to submit multiple categories we ask to fill out a separate form for the other categories (i.e. Any%/ 100% in a different form). Please keep submissions to a maximum of 5 games. Submissions will close on May 5th, 2018 (10PM BST).
Entry fee Cost: £10 per person. Tickets become available after cuts/preliminary schedule are released. We require runners pay their ticket two weeks before the event at the latest (money needs to be in our hands by then). Viewers can pay upon arrival. Keep an eye on the UKSG discord for updates.

Unless explicitly stated, there's no limitation to the events you can attend and/or submit runs to.
Naegleria, a NA speedrunner attended this year's ESA. Nepumuk, a dutch speedrunner was going to run in the coming AGDQ. Even I, a speedrunner from Greece living in Glasgow attended BSG, a dutch speedrunning event.
To my knowledge, attending a marathon from a different continent or country is never frowned upon, quite contrary in fact, it's a nice discussion topic.
PS: ESA was in Växjö until 2017 and now in 2018 they're moving it to Mälmö, a much more accessible city.

Transport from Glasgow airport From the airport: Take the CityLink 500 to Buchanan bus station (single ticket: £8, open return: £12 | This is the only bus line that will accept contactless payments). Then take either bus line 6/6A or the subway from the Buchanan Street station. Subway(one way ticket: £1.60, return: £3.10):
- Get off at Kelvinbridge, alight at Great Western Road, turn left towards the University, turn left again at Bank Street and follow the road until you see Cowan street on your left hand side. Find house number 3 on your right hand side.
Bus (prices vary, ask the driver upon entry to the bus. Busses cannot return change): Lines 6/6A will take you to the same place as the subway station Kelvinbridge. From there follow the walking instructions above.

I'd like to run a Kirby game at some point in the future, even if that means comparing to only emulator runs, or doing some math to see where i rank on DS leaderboards. So a separate category, mainly for simplicity's sake, for emulator's only would be gucci.
