Which leaderboard/profile page is the most beautiful/well-designed in your opinion?

The only popular game I know that supports dolphin is BFBB, but using it is a disadvantage since gc is one of the slowest consoles which you can play the game on

@Sizzyl Don't know if this would help, but I advise you to try dm'ing the mods of a really popular speedgame (that allows dolphin) and ask them how do they verify if the runs are real or fake.

I don't really have a favourite genre but I usually speedrun 2d platformers with pixel art graphics because I use a crappy laptop. But recently, I've been trying out games with top-down movement and this type of games tend to be RPG's or puzzle games.

If I were to learn arrow keys, would it be worth it? Or is it more convenient to just rebind my keys every time I want to play something?

I have run multiple games on pc and most of them use arrow keys instead of wasd which I'm used to.

I know I can just rebind the keys for the game with a program like AutoHotKey. But I'm curious about how you runners can adapt to playing with arrow keys (unless you have been playing like that since you started playing video games).

Also, some games are just made for arrow keys and are pretty hard to rebind them to wasd without making it uncomfortable for myself at least.

Grimm's Hollow is a free RPG game that's pretty short to beat casually (Unless you're going for all the endings). It's definitely a really good game even if you're not interested in speedrunning it.

The community isn't that big but they are pretty active and there are a couple of guides that are well made on some tricks/glitches this game has to offer. The WR currently sits at 57:09 with only 3 runners that have a time on the leaderboards.

Personally, if I'm at the end of a run and I know it's impossible for me to pb, I'll probably just finish the run since I'm very close to the end anyway and I need some of that late-game practice. But if the time lost is in the early/middle stages of the game, I'll reset

The only time I would reset at the end is when I'm confident that I had enough late-game practice or if I'm seriously grinding for a pb

Keep in mind that your acc needs to be at least a month old but that shouldn't take long since your acc is already 3 weeks old

I hold a few wr's of my own but the games I run are usually obscure indie/flash titles with very little competition (highschool student that's legal enough to use src)

Tbh, this thread shouldn't only be for Seydie but also for other runners as well if they're looking for some obscure games to run too

There's a ton of categories for this game, and the main category (Any% No Major Glitches) is under 10 minutes long. The game is also free to download on itch.io. Highly recommend people to check it out since there's not much competition going on
