This is a list of Spirinite we purchase during the run which All but two runs on the leaderboard use. This is simply detailing what items are for what spirinite, how to get them, and maybe how it's achieved in the speedrun if it's required notation.

I am aware that currently the two major note sets used (My own and Freddeh's which is on discord) does have errors on this. I did this to purely make it clear, as this stuff is a recurring question from people learning the game.

Item's needed for all current run purchases:

Purikka: Physical pride: -Iron Snowsand x1 - Waloompa Exact Kill (Achieved in Nive) -Smooth Oil x1 - Waloompa Rare Drop -Beehive Claw x1 - Jaboo Normal Drop (He has no rare drop) Slow: -Powdered Bone x2 - Any Crab enemy Link Kill (Achieved of Skullian's on the boat) -Hexagonal pendant x1 - Any "Flapper" Exact Kill (Achieved on Forgotten Shore on White Flappers) Lightning: -Sharp Talon x1 - Any "Flapper" Normal Drop

Tenderville Shock: -Sturdy Sheet Metal x2 - Any Penguin Exact Kill (Achieved in the Tutorial, or Nive Village if unlucky)

Hiddbury: Combat Instinct: -Moss-Oak Root x1 - Any Poly Enemy Time Kill (Achieved in Mobrise whilst collecting Jagged teeth) -Jagged Tooth x2 - Hoppy Rare Drop (Kill 3 packs of Penguins during speedrun in Mobrise, or the story mandatory ones in Hiddbury) -Golden Claw x1 - Wolf Baron Normal Drop (Has no Rare drop)

Gatherington: Spiritual Harmony: -Hexagonal Pendant x2 - Any "Flapper" Exact Kill (Achieved on Forgotten Shore on White Flappers) -Iron ore x2 - Any Crab Enemy Overkill (Achieved in Floeberg Waters) -Squishy Skin x1 - Prickly Puff-Puff Rare Drop (Obtained during Story required Encounters in Blackwhelm Cave) Resonance: -Pale Pink Gem x2 -Any Rabbit Momentum kill -Transparent Blade x2 - Any Snake Light Kill (Achieved in Archimell ruins using Avashina (light damage) Blowbeats) -Deadly Venom x1 - Any Snake Overkill (Same as Above) Light Bit: -Bushy Tail x1 - Chocolly Rare Drop (Achieved in Floeberg waters, Killing groups on our way through) -Imp Walnut Root x2 - Any Rabbit Time Kill (Achieved in Mysleigh Woods with a specific setup) -Large Teardrop x1 - Any Owl Normal Drop -White Stone x1 - Any Owl Light Kill (Avarshina or Lightning is done in the speedrun.) Destined Cycle: -Pale Blue Gem x1 - Any "Loompa"/Walrus Momentum Kill (Achieved in Nive and Floeberg) -Sharp Talon x2 - Any "Flapper" Normal Drop -Mountain Lily Flower x1 - Any Rabbit Exact Kill (Achieved in Mysleigh Woods)

Royberg: Battlecry: -Holy Paulownia Root x1 - Any Shroomsback Time Kill (Achieved in Magna Valley with Timefrost Equiped) -Transparent Blade x2 - Any Snake Light Kill (Achieved in Archimell ruins using Avashina (light damage) Blowbeats)

Does the Gender on the final hero matter for the overall run? I ask because I'm learning the run, and in the future would like to maybe submit the game to marathons with donation incentives for both Gender and name for the hero.

Thanks!

Currently, Myself and Lerriplays, the other English speaking runner of this game have agreed that DLC Buddies are currently banned from regular Any%.

The DLC Buddies are not majorly useful for the run, they would be minor time save at the beginning of the run, and add run safety for the end of the game to our present understanding. But with every buddy being £1.30 each, The idea to add minor time save behind a price gate of a minimum of £5 extra seems Silly.

DLC buddies can be installed when doing a regular Any% Run, as they do not add extra bonus's in doing so, however the DLC buddies cannot be used. The same applies for the Pre-order Buddies.

DLC Catagory can be added on request.

This is basically just a collection of issues for the game. Some of these are far more important than others.

New Game Footnote:

This applies for all new runs, and is critical for things such as marathon setups. Or perhaps someone looking to run this game.

When you start a new game, all settings, including keybindings, sound and text speeds, are reset everytime new game is pressed.

There is a forced tutorial at the start of the game, make sure you are aware that you have to use default keyboard bindings during this. You can change the settings the moment you gain control of Kanata after he wakes up in his room.

For all the above reasons. I recommend running on controller.

Old Patch Footnote:

Old patch isn't banned and doesn't offer any technical advantages over current patch.

However, please be aware that Old patch has an extremely annoying and frequently occurring audio glitch, in which a specific sound loop can get locked in after building on the world map, something that can occur within the first 15 minutes of gameplay. The only way to fix the glitch is to close the entire game down. It doesn't even stop in the credits and after.

Please for make sure you are in the most recent version of the game.

Xbox One Controllers and Infinite scrolling on shop menus:

I've personally tested 3 different Xbox one controllers. But on the shop menus Xbox one controllers like to cause the game to just scroll uncontrollably during menus. The same issue doesn't occur in my Steam Controller. But real Citation is needed on this. It could just be me :/

The PC Save file location is:

C:\Users[name]AppData\Local\SquareEnix\FinalFantasyType-0HD\save

Just incase anyone ever wants to set up a huge practise file dumpareeno

You require to have hidden/folders to be visable.

I've been setting up for the PSP run, so i guess ill give a heads up to the mods, and anyone else running.

¤There is a load time difference on Emu vs PSP (about 2/3 seconds from Download, 20+ from UMD. UMD is basically unplayable for speedrun on a E1000 with recording on.)

(UMD Load time here: )

¤PSP E1000 will overheat from the load time from UMD with display on as well as game capture, Recommended off.

¤RemoteJoyLite 0.19 (The normal FF1 runners use), Crashes FFT0. However 0.20 will crash on the home screen and game boot. (But will not crash any other time¤¤) I have not found a work around as of this Post. So all Submissions from real PSP (FROM ME) will have a hand cam.

¤ The Game does Two discs. Game Swap is required.

¤The English Version of PSP Game is an Unofficial Fan sub, a discussion needs to be held if it is valid or not. (as it's technically an unofficial version)

Notes on the English version:

The English Version is fan made, it also is not spanning 2 discs. (Only 1 Iso file).

If you want to run and have a donation incentive or something for changing names, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR PAUSE BUTTON IS.

Pause Button will kick you out of that Menu for name changing every time. So you will need to change the Key on game boot up. So say if your donation incentive is to call someone Kryptic, default binding will always stop you at Kryp and not allow the ic.

Default Key is i Believe P. And it is 100% the Pause Key. Only Keyboard setting needs to be change.
