The following item has been added to the Game Rules:
"The run should be submitted in the most appropriate category. If you did a glitchless run, it should not be submitted in the Any% categories."
This prevents situations where players would do a glitchless run and submit it to the Any% category just to get a free PB/WR there. While technically possible under the rules, this seems to go against the idea of splitting the leaderboard into different categories.
If you stream from PS4, you can enable a layout which includes a timer (it wont have any splits though, and it counts the livestream time, it's not a timer you can control).
If you have a pc, in addition to using a capture card to record the game, you can also use Remote Play to play the game from the pc, so you can record and add splits with OBS.
Não parece muito interessante, já que não seria muito diferente da categoria já existente do Fear Kratos, mas dá para considerar. Complete uma run dessa categoria que podemos considerar adicionar no leaderboard.
Doesn't seem very interesting, since it would be similar to the current Fear Kratos category, but we can consider it. Finish a run and we can consider adding it to the leaderboard.
Sigrun categories have been added in the God of War Category Extensions page. So far we have Sigrun Very Hard with and without Zeus Set. Other challenge-oriented categories can be added in the future if found interesting.
As was requested in another thread in the GoW2018 forum, Sigrun categories have been added. So far we have Sigrun Very Hard with and without Zeus Set. Other challenge-oriented categories can be added in the future if found interesting.
Ok, I will create Alfheim% NG+ Very Hard
This could be something interesting for Category Extension, although we already have the Valkyrie% speedrun.
I will add it soon. I want to first check all the existing runs to see which use PS4 Pro.
Categorias para a trilogia foram criadas.
Trilogy categories have been created
Burhac recently did a Trevor% tutorial. For the other segments, there is FriendlyBaron's Casual vs Speedrun series and his GDQ submission run (where he did a full run talking about all the strats), but unfortunately they are somewhat outdated now. So you should also watch the current top runs to catch all the new optimizations.
In my opinion this would be a fun category for the Category Extensions page. Rules should be the same as Classic%, but with cheats.
Remote Access. You can play the PS4 on your computer, than you can record it with OBS.
Thanks for the answers everyone, I accepted the runs.
These are old pbs, that the runner did not submit before. Now he decided to submit all his old pbs even if they are obsolete.
If a user submits multiple obsolete runs (worse than their current verified pb), should we verify them? I think in this case it would not be unreasonable to simply reject them all. The moderation rules of the site say we should not reject runs for being obsoleted by newer submissions, but in this case they are obsoleted by older submissions.
There is the XP glitch that is used in Very Hard with glitches and is not used in Very Hard Glitchless. When talking to a runner of the category, he expressed that VH Glitchless should remain separated. So I left it this way. It can still be discussed if there is a better way.
I believe it is best to leave categories with more specific rules or that do not include the full game as misc.
I am a super moderador for the God of War series and I want to comment on some of Gustavo Predador's actions here. He has created fights with numerous moderators in the past and has been involved in a lot of controversies throughout the years. Now he is using this forum to subvert the moderation and as an attempt to gain power. Removing Andypanther was acceptable because he has been inactive for a long time, but I disagree with removing Ragnell, and I am completely disapprove Gustavo asking for moderation. (It seems he just edited his comment where he was asking for GoW2 moderation.)
Alfheim% (with Any% NG+, Any%, and Very Hard Glitchless variations) and All Raven categories have been added.
