This isn't related to glide. If you touch the corner of a wall in just the right way, you'll get a boost of speed.

Adding trials in the leaderboard should be done soon enough. It was discussed a couple days ago and nobody is opposed to it.

The switch port is a really different game when it comes to speedrun (some tricks are exclusive to switch other got patched). It may have a separate leaderboard altogether but the topic hasn't been discussed with the community yet. We don't have any Switch runners yet but Tekoppar has done a bit of glitch hunting on this version so some runners may start to run on this version in the future?
