I noticed that some people have been using the demo version of the game to submit runs for the Trial IL's. That is fine, however there is a catch.

The only level in the demo that WILL get rejected is "Hand me that Pipewrench."

The reason for that is because the level is much different in the demo than from the full game. As in the demo, you do not get access to the sheep transformation, and you can't ride the sheep. So unfortunately, Hand Me that Pipewrench has to be ran in the full game. Every other trial level can be ran in the demo no problemo.

And people running Demo% MUST use the demo version of the game, not the full game. This is for the same reason as why "Hand Me that Pipewrench" in the demo is banned in the IL categories.

Q: Are cheats allowed in runs? A: Only if they do not give you a significant advantage during gameplay. Skins are allowed. But Mutant Clyde is not.

Q: Why is there no category for 100% in the IL's? A: Killer Kenns are permacollectable, at least on the Xbox 360 version. Even if they are permacollectable on PC, I still want to make it so anyone can submit to the leaderboards. So sadly, that is why 100% can't be utilized in IL's.

Q: Why is it so quiet in the stream? A: The game is mostly silent, as in there is not much of a soundtrack.

Q: I have an Xbox One, what do I submit my run under? A: You submit it under Xbox 360, and then state you are running it on Xbox One.

Q: Why are the leaderboards split between the 2 versions? A: A couple of reasons. First off, I feel it is more fair to people. Secondly, the Xbox 360 version came out in 2006, while the PC release came out in 2011. That is a big gap between versions.

Here is a brief summary of basic forms of movement and other stuff you need to know to optimize your speedruns of this game.

Movement: Running is Clyde's default and fastest form of movement when playing as him normally, jumping will slow him down.

Diving: When Clyde approaches a pit that he will have to fall through, he could fall through normally, or he could do a belly dive, which is the faster of the two. Jumping and pressing X (on Xbox) will make Clyde do the dive

Sheep: Out of all the transformations in the game, the Sheep is the most useful for Speedrunning, as Sheep Clyde runs significantly faster than his normal counterpart.

Super Attacks: To beat a level, Clyde needs to defeat every single robot in a stage to get the exit portal to appear, hitting the robots with Clyde's normal attack will take significantly longer than using the Super Attack (which earned by collecting enough DNA strands) and Clyde can only have 3 Super Attacks available at once, but the Super Attack can immediately defeat a robot.

Mutant Chicken Attack: When Clyde is out of DNA strands to do a Super Attack, the next most optimal thing to do is attack the robot normally, and cleverly position himself so that the Mutant Chickens that appear to attack him, also attack the robot. When the Chicken is about to explode, move out of the way and go back to beating up that robot
