Most recent 3DS games have faster loads on New 3DS and I don't see why this would be an exception, so I think New 3DS should be added as a platform

I've already decided to add Kirby Master once someone has done a run with video (I've done 2 runs but neither have any video proof)

There is a problem with this though. After you beat the game, there is a cutscene followed by credits. For the credits, you can skip over them by going on the home menu and reseting, but the cutscene prevents you from doing that.

However, if you turn off the console and turn it back on, you can skip the cutscene, saving time. This is the problem, should we allow it?

How long turning off the console off and back on again depends on your console. A Wii would take a minute less than Wii U and thus would save 2 minutes over Wii U. And a hacked Wii U (which is what I have) would take even longer. (And if Switch VC is ever a thing it would save a lot more time)

I also just don't like the idea of saving time by turning your console off as opposed to something within the game. I'm personally against allowing it.

Because of some people privating their tweets, and thus us being unable to look at it, We will no longer be accepting tweets as proof for Guest Stars or Ultimate Choice. Please use an image uploading site such as imgur. This rule will stand starting from today.

Now as for whether we should keep the twitter proof, delete them or take the images ourselves, I'm not sure. This game has only been out for a few months so I'm completely fine with removing runs. Especially as it isn't hard to re submit them.

At White Wafers Nick takes a while to press 2 to get to the next textbox so I had to time how much time he wasted.

I've made a couple of changes: Edited all Arena and True Arena runs to include Decimals Removed runs where I couldn't add the decimals Removed variables (they had no use in the first place) Made Extra mode into a sub category instead of a misc. category Added Korean as a Region

In the leaderboards you can not only choose what character you use in the variables, but you can also make the leaderboard only show a specific character. For Example:

Now, if we do this with soul Melter, we don't get anything accurate. For example, if we seperate by Stone, we get nothing, and if we seperate by Sword, we get a 14 minute time as 1st place despite people doing better runs.

My idea was to copy the runs onto this page. I asked dk3 and he agreed. He asked some other TA runners and they all agreed.

There are 3 options: Put them all onto the main board (so you can use the variables to find wr) Make a specific board just to show off the best times for the abilities (basically to copy dks's board) (This would make it so the rankings aren't disrupted and the TA runners wouldn't have to use 2 different boards) Not do this at all

I've sort of attempted this with KRTDL and the separate characters, but here we can actually do it with every single ability

This is more experimental than anything, and if it works well here we can do it for future Kirby games as well

I'm going to split the current Guest Stars board from Helpers + Dream Friends to Original and DLC. Hopefully this will allow for more competition. If I decide that this is a bad idea I'll change it back again.

Right now your 2 sub categories are for Helpers and Dream Friends. This i because the game clearly makes a distinction between them, and you have to unlock the dream friends

The problem is, MK, Dedede and Bandana are incomparable to the dlc characters. The DLC characters all have unique level layouts and are way faster than the other 3 (by over 10 minutes).

The problem with having non-dlc characters, is that MK would end up dominating the non-dlc boards, rendering the Riding MK strategies useless.

We've voted on this before and almost no one wanted dlc to be seperated. But that was before the boards where made.

What do you all think? So far no one has submitted any Meta Knight runs so no runs will be moved.

I personally think Image proof for WR is fine, The game tells you if they used amiibo, if they used 2p, and what Abilities they used.

This will not affect Guest Stars btw

For RTA I've decided to enforce videos and for IGT I'm enforcing images permanently, without any subject to changing.

This is despite the other Kirby games which don't enforce video proof (Aside from K64)

This is for multiple reasons: -People keep timing runs incorrectly -People keep submitting wrong information -I wouldn't have been able to add versions to all the any% runs if there was no video. We might need to make a change like this again (For example if we add All Rainbow Pieces + Switches having video proof of all the current 100% runs means I can take their times easily) -Being completely honest, some of the other Kirby boards that don't enforce proof look horrendous, with some runs not looking legit at all

-Added an image in the any% rules to make the end timing clearer -Added 100% -Added Guest Stars -Added a variable for version (I'll edit all the runs to include version at some point)

Things that are staying:

-Amiibo will still be banned -Multiplayer will still be banned -Kirby in Guest Stars glitch will be banned in all categories -Video proof for full game and image proof for igt will still be required

Things that are subject to change:

-If it turns out no one is interested in the 2 boards for Guest Stars we'll combine them into one -If by the final update Kirby in Guest Stars is still not patched we may allow him for 100% -There is currently no All Big Pieces + Switches category as it is already a part of 100%. If people are interested in running this without the rest of the modes required for 100% I'll add it -If in a future update some tricks get patched I may allow 1.0.0 (Depending on what tricks get patched)

Edit: I will not add any other categories unless multiple people have run them and with video proof Edit 2: With the amount of errors in uploading videos and timing, there's no way we're not enforcing video proof

With the 3 new characters released, people have noticed they get far batter times than other characters. This is because they not only skip a ton of rooms, but some rooms are straight up replaced. The 3 new characters are incomparable to the rest of the cast.

We have multiple ways of doing this:

1. Have all characters (including kirby) into one leaderboard
2. Have all original characters (including kirby) in one sub category and the new helpers in another sub category
3. same as 2 but ban Kirby
4. Have 3 sub categories 1 for original helpers, 1 for kirby and one for the new helpers

More discussion will be needed before we set up the guest stars leaderboard

We will not be setting up a Guest Stars board for some more time. The reason for this is because of a glitch that allows you to play as Kirby in guest stars. I got a 48 minute time with him

We know for a fact this is a glitch not an easter egg as there are multiple bugs present when playing as kirby. Wednesday there will be an update adding more characters, and we will find it if it will be patched or not. Before then, no boards for guest stars.

It doesn't seem like much, I estimate digital saves about 30-40 seconds

We haven't yet figured out what to do with guest stars. There are 2 options:

• Make it a full category with the character as a variable
• Use the level leaderboards for each chracter

You can't expect people to have competition with all 30+ characters. A lot of the characters play the same if you're using the fastest strats. Most people would just play the fastest character anyways.

IL:

The Level layouts are different depending on the character. The bosses and fights will be different. They're all saved separately in game. KTD and KFD have each ability for kirby fighters ils seperate as well.
