TLDR: Would it be possible to remove real time and have only IGT in submission form.
Hello, for the past few years on the Getting Over It Leaderboards we have only used "In Game Time" as our main timing method, and moderators are used to just clearing the real time box (doesn't matter how clear you make it people will still fill it in)
However it's been brought up a few times if we could just remove the option for real time all together, now I know one solution is to remove IGT and real time will change to "time" and just make it known that you submit your IGT, however this would require updating thousands of runs on the leaderboard, so... obviously not ideal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
- GOI mod team.
In the past few months you may have noticed a few changes to the rules such as in-game timers being allowed, and a couple other small changes. Along with that we are now allowing the use of "Non-Intrusive cosmetic mods" such as pot colors and/or the PotPng mod within reason. Obviously no graphic, or NSFW textures will be allowed. As for custom models currently there are very few non-intrusive ones, small masks, glasses, ect may be allowed.
If you are unsure if a specific cosmetic is allowed please ask a moderator in the discord ( https://discord.gg/GpZwPy3 ) if it is acceptable.
Finally as mentioned, there have been some changes to the rules over the past few months, please give them a full read, Thank you :)
Updated rules as follows:
Time will begin upon completion of the loading screen after starting a "New Game" or upon pressing Ctrl + R.
The Ingame Timer will be used, with completion time determined by the endgame screen. Please enter your time only in the In-game time box and keep the real time box empty.
Restarting the timer by jumping into the water at the beginning or any other method to reset the timer such as passing 100 hours is not allowed.
Runs must be completed without pauses or quitouts. Pausing on the iOS version is allowed only when skipping the credits.
The Barrel Glitch/Warp Glitches are not allowed.
No gameplay should be obstructed (the cauldron, character & any walls and objects the hammer is interacting with).
Modding the game is NOT allowed excluding the following: in-game timers such as Codyumm's in-game timer & the in-game timer included with Anjo2's modpack. If using Anjo2's modpack, the mod menu cannot be opened and must be set to Glitchless. Non-Intrusive cosmetic mods, This includes Pot Color included in Anjo2's modpack & FM2's PotPng Plugin within reason, graphic & NSFW png's will be rejected. Full model replacement cosmetics are not allowed, non intrusive additions such as gloves or very small masks may be allowed. If you are unsure about a cosmetic mod please ask an SRC moderator in the discord linked in the side panel.
It is highly recommended and preferred that any runs under 1:40 have in-game sound on and the setting "show mouse cursor" enabled. Any sub 1:40 runner may be requested to livestream gameplay to moderators as verification of skill level.
The following minimum video standards must be met:
Video source is from either capture card or capturing software (OBS, Xsplit, Action, etc) Video resolution is at least 360p and framerate is at least 25 FPS with no excessive stuttering or frame drops at any point. Endscreen is shown long enough to tell what the final time is. The video is not too dark or too bright to see the run clearly.
I noticed in the SSDD rules it says "autosaves beforehand to get optimal target layouts are allowed"
I can't seem to find a save state mod or console commands. I would love save states though, if anyone could help I would appreciate it :)
