I will make a video soon with clips of all these as some are hard to understand purely by text. Whenever i say pause clip im referring to a bug where pausing disables loadzones, cutscene triggers, nps hitboxes and line of sight.
Chapter 1: progress up untill mina then pause clip into the dorms. You need mina otherwise she wont join your party which will eventually crash the game in future fights
Chapter 2: pause jump to the dome to skip fortunatos lesson.
Chapter 3: progress up untill the forest gate is unlocked then pause clip into the deep forest. You can skip past the gate but youll be stuck unable to get back through it
Chapter 4: pause clip through the upstairs loading zones to fall ontop of the walls to then walk along them to get to the roof top early skipping makakos lesson (this one very much needs a visual demonstration)
Chapter 5: Follow the main quest up untill suneko rejoins your party then skip to big tonys den by pause clipping into the loading zone in the parking lot. The reason you dont skip to bug tonys den earlier is that you wont regain your party members which can lead to crashes. Also past the loading zone in the parking lot for some reason is an out of bounds chest with 5 vanilla milkshakes, Essentially 5 free levels so thats a definate grab.
Chapter 6: unfortunately i got nothin. Due to how the chapter is lined out i cant find anything to skip.
Chapter 7: again unfortunately i have nothin. However if a way to get to boris's house early is found the entire chapter could be skipped. Unfortunately due to how the out of bounds area in the forest is laid out itd be very difficult.
Chapter 8: progress untill youve freed yourself from your robot captors. Then go to the infirmary and pause clip in. I do have a way to get to mount dodji early but unless you have the usb stick nothing happens.
Anyone else got anything?
Id find that very usefull. Better then using the forums tab over and over
One last thing i swear this is it. Pausing also disables an enemies line of sight. Going through that is faster then just clipping through the enemy and could be used in more spots but it does require a bit of a run up to have enough speed. To get the max distance roll into a jump
One other thing id like to add. Pausing seems to disable alot of stuff such as npc collision cutscene triggers and loadzones. This is what allows the npc clipping thing. Being able to go through loadzones provides easy access to out of bounds and going through cutscene triggers may be usefull in some spots but certainly not all.
Odd suggestion from me. Glass cannon% in assist options you set it to where you take 400% increased dmg and deal 400% increased dmg. Definately more of a side category

Not neccesarily. Some non story fights (such as ketchup vs pineapple pizza) cant be skipped with it but it does skip alot
Im not sure if theres any specific place i should send bugs that are useful to the speedrun so im just putting this here. If your walking into an npc and press the pause button the npc loses there collision and youll move through them a little. Its fairly easy to clip through most but speed matters as you very quickly lose it when you pause. This can be used in alot of places to skip otherwise mandatory fights
