Update: New Track (Springrock Steep) 21 Course runs were changed to legacy and a new 22 course category was added. The map was also added as an IL.

Update: New Track (Checker Cliffs) 20 course times were updated to 21 course times. If I made a mistake adding time to the run, then just DM me on here and I'll get it fixed. As far as I can tell with rock, the map should be the same as before. Again, if I am wrong about this, let me know. Checker Cliffs was also added to the IL boards.
Race count marbles wouldn't be in consideration for this. Only marbles that are collectible on each track, and maybe lobby marbles if you would want that too. No # of race marbles or anything like that. If we did lobby marbles, it would have to be real time. I am alright with either option.
100% sounds like a category that could be interesting, but its up to you how you want it to work. Right now, I'm thinking of two options for how the category can work out. In both, you have to collect every ball on every map.
- You can turn racing off mid-map to change maps faster, meaning you don't need to finish each race. Downside of this is that lag might be a bigger problem, but it would be interesting to see routing. The run would be timed based on real-time as you wouldn't see end of race times.
- Along with collecting the marbles, you also need to finish each course. Benefit of this is timings can be more consistent, due to in game time being usable, but would also take longer to complete runs.
Update: 3 New Tracks (Pipe Squared, Tiki Temple, Tomb Ruins Remastered) 17 course times are going to be converted to 20 course times, with the developer times added onto them, as that was the same thing that happened with the transition from 16 course to 17 course previously. As always, the new tracks are also available as ILs. After a second thought, I think 100% is a cool idea for a full-game category. (Thanks @Baconwastaken originally and @nileprime for bringing it back up.) I will make a new forum post asking for opinions on how you want 100% to work, so check for that as well. Pipe Nightmares and Checkpoint Chaos are gonna stay around on the IL boards, just to preserve them. My apologies for not being on the ball about adding the new maps as categories and updating full-game.
Older runs have been moved into a legacy category, mostly just to keep records of what was already there. You are still free to submit to the new categories as you please. The two subcategories (RTA/No RTA) might be merged, as it seems a bit redundant. If so, I'll just retime all the runs to make sure they are ok.
That's usually how it is for most racing games though. Most FLaps are done on lap 2 as they can start the lap with extra speed (whether its a mini turbo or any other mechanic), instead of from 0. You could play tracks with the intention of only going for FLaps if you really wanted to, and just go for everything.
EBH basically has the idea. When submitting for Fast Lap, it can be any lap of the track, whether its lap 1 or lap 4. It doesn't really matter, as long as it's the fastest in the run and/or a better PB.
Update: New Track (Dizzy Volcano) All Track category has been changed to accommodate it, (and the only 16 track run had the dev time for volcano added to it and replaced as a 17 course track. I felt that was fair) and it is available as an IL. I added fast lap leaderboards for every track, located next to the full race category for the ILs. For the tracks that are 1 lap already, runs will not be accepted as they are fundamentally the same category. (Thanks to @EBH for the suggestion.)
this category is just bad its literally just who can glitch the timer to freeze the time at the shortest duration
realm5's level 3 gearless IL. I don't even think gugi attempted to retime the run. Should be ~11.233
I still think its fine to keep the boards, despite low activity. If anything, it would help players trying to get better by pointing them in the right direction, even if its just from finding a discord link. Anything is useful. As for the point about other games getting on the site, speedBLOX and games like it are weird cases. The best thing I can compare it to are surf/bhop style games. Bhop/Surf games have somewhat credible leaderboards, and the UI mimics it somewhat. For a game like that, it would just be a mess to moderate, considering the amount of maps available. For blocky ball in comparison, there are 16 main maps, with not many being added beyond that (mostly testing maps, which I left out of full game for a reason and could be removed altogether). Sure, Roblox is volatile in terms of physics updates, both in-game and in the engine, but we can't really control that, and that's why legacy exists. If this game had, say 50 maps for example, it would fall under the case of speedBLOX I think. I don't see a good reason to take away the boards for this altogether, and unless I get a specific request from a sr.com moderator or something of that kind, these boards will stay.
