@CheDaCheezYT A speedboost works because it abuses the mechanic where you get a speed boost when you jump off a slope, like the one towards the end of Summit 5. The edges of objects have these properties, which is why you can speedboost. You can theoretically speedboost indefinitely it's just you need to find a way to preserve it and there's already a TAS made for the full game if you want to start TASing with an idea for what to do (). If you want to speedboost though you need to downpatch because the current version removes them

Ok this is like 2 months old but yeah we changed the starting frame of tutorial because we spawned in different spots and it was unnecessary RNG, so I don't see the reason why we shouldn't change it to first frame the barrier is broken

Yeah I got too bored and decided to mathematically figure out what possible boosts I could get and then calculated how fast I could complete the summit with the boosts and just decided to do a run and got it rela.

Yeah. You probably went from the start of the run to the end of the video instead of the end of the run which is why you thought your time was 3 seconds slower.

All people (or at least most of them) need to record. If we used rta there would be way too many starting points, so we just decided to use igt.

@retrozy Yeah in this game having higher hz works like old NES games or Mario Kart 64. Basically in those games, having higher hz means your game speeds up. For example, in MK64, NTSC runs the game 20% faster compared to PAL because NTSC runs on 60hz, compared to 50hz on PAL.

@Bruhscrackedatfortnite speedrun.com mods accepted it they rejected dig it up because he submitted early even though mods in series can submit early
