Hey! So the 100% route is still currently no man's land in terms of routing. Mello's the only one who has shown any interest in developing a standard route for it as it is quite the undertaking. If you're interested in helping out, feel free to join the Discord if you haven't already as that is where most findings and optimizations are shared initially before getting archived here. There is definitely a ton of potential left for all categories of this game and so any and all info you could provide (with or without owning the game) would be incredibly helpful! Also, I'll go ahead and change the 100% criteria when I get a chance. -Ape
OK, so I figured out the issue. YouTube processed a bunch of skipped frames into the final video, probably because of a spike in my stream connection. My original 2:19:12 time is correct. Take a look at the stream timer during these timestamps on youtube and you'll see what I'm talking about: 0:01, 1:56, 17:26, 35:42, 51:40, 1:01:38, 1:14:32, 1:32:13, and 2:00:50. Basically, the YouTube video that you timed does not reflect the actual run itself as there are seconds missing from that video.
That's so strange, why would I have gotten a time 20 seconds slower?
I forgot to mention that the stream time is the same as my split time. The run doesn't start until 13 seconds on the stream time so I subtracted that from the 2:19:25 (could be 2:19:26 though) that the stream displayed at the end of gameplay to get 2:19:12 which is also my split time. The only discrepancy I found was between that time and the youtube time. I appreciate your help! Let me know what you find out, just curious is all.
