Not sure if anyone still speedruns this but Im gonna make some drastic changes on the rules and categories. Rules now won't allow turbo controllers, cheats and emulators must have the name and version being shown. Passwords only allowed on hard mode, because one is required to unblock this difficulty. The new categories will be spider-man only for both consoles and both difficulties since everyone goes with Venom only for obvious reasons on the choose freely category. Let me know what you think about it on this thread. Thank you all!

Thanks for the reply. Im gonna check again. I know for a fact that you get the card either fighting a Onion transformed into oozaru or through the spots that gives you cards either by matching them on a memory game or the other one that you follow a path to get it.

I just watched the first 2 hours of the WR video. One thing that I do not understand is how exactly he got the moon card? It showed up at his inventory after he used some flight cards on the snake way. I retraced but couldn't find it anywhere giving that card but I could be wrong.

Im here to express my surprise and disagreement towards my run not being accepted by the moderator Mr. Starbird. He claims the run I submitted had a lot of resets and that I should upload the part of the run only.

I would like to point out that, if he had seen it and made little effort on trying to figure out what was happening is that I had problems with the controller after the first reset, and with the sound afterwards. I had to stop and start all over again. And I must add that, on my previous PB ( which was accepted by a different mod) I reseted the game even more and submitted the run. If such a thing is a rule, it be should explicit on the forums or the main page, on rules tab. Posting the entire VOD should actually be a good signal of integrity to the run, bearing in mind the problems you guys suffered with a Sega Ages run that was appearently not reliable.

Mr. Starbird, bear in mind that Im a man of little free time, just like you I guess( because it took almost 2 weeks to verify my run) and I simply don't have the opportunity to go through the vods and cut parts and then upload it, and finally submit to speedrun.com. The little spare time that I have I use to stream for a bit during the weekends wherever possible.

I would like this decision to be reviewed. Thank you all for the attention,

Yeah using emulators is totally fine and Fusion works well.

About the timers and overlays, Im not the best one to give advice. I try to keep things as simple as possible when I run. I don't use overlays or anything, just show up the game and the splits. For splits, I use Wsplit as it´s very easy to use and to program.

Always nice to have more people around. have fun!
