Toontown – TTC Speedrun (All Tasks in Toontown Central)

Tips: After choosing what track you want to learn, go and fish until you have 19 species caught. Then catch one more and don’t turn it in. You can get a quick laff refill once you need it without getting Ice Creams. (a must) Always keep an eye on your gags and if they are getting low. Make sure to keep them restocked. Never use the trolley for jellybeans. It can slow down the run if you get a game like Toon Memory. It’s not worth the risk. When doing Gag Tracks, try to do them in invasions to level your gags up as fast as possible. Most importantly, when speedrunning, Have fun!

Walkthrough: First off, quickly mash through making the toon and go straight into the Toon-torial. Once you load in, straightway run forward and get through the dialogue Tutorial Tom gives you, try to guess where the chat boxes will be as it will be a lot faster. Once you have gotten through the dialogue that Tom gives you, head out the door and run into the flunky, again try to find where the gag icons will be ahead of time as it saves you time. Use both gags and let Tom talk to you before heading to Toon HQ. Next, in Toon HQ go straight ahead and talk to HQ Harry, move the mouse down to the Book and use the right arrow and keep on clicking the book to save time. After that head out the door to meet Flippy. Say anything that isn’t in another menu, so something like Yes, No, Ok. After that head to the trolley and start the game, the best game to get here is Cannon Game. Don’t worry if you don’t get it though, you will lose just a few seconds about 10-20. After you’ve done this fill out all your gags to 10 each. Once done head straight into Toon HQ and talk to an officer. Next head out to the nearest street which is Punchline Place and battle any cog. Level 1’s are best but if a Level 2 or 3 appears then, go for it but you may end up dying especially if gags miss. After this is done, Teleport back to the playground and try to make a friend before going back to Toon HQ. Once friend is made, run back in to Toon HQ and quickly get through the rest of the tutorial. Next you need to go see Flippy. So head to him and then go out and defeat 4 cogs. Once done, head back to the playground and you should have gotten a Level 2 gag or both by now. Restock and then go straight back to Flippy. Now Flippy will assign you to go and defeat a specific type of cog. The best cog to get here is Lawbots because they flood Loopy Lane. If you get given a different kind then either check quickly for invasions OR use the guide below:

Once done, return once more to Flippy. He will give you somebody to talk to. Now, here comes the RNG. You will be given an NPC to go to. The best you can get here is Librarian Larry as he is right next door. The second best is if you get given Franz Freckvein as he is on Punchline Place and not too far into the street, here you will lose like 1-2 minutes. However, if you get Honey Haha you are going to lose about 3-4 minutes. (If you are trying to PB then my advice would be to reset if you get Honey Haha, better early on than to lose a lot of time towards what could have been a new PB.) Moving on, after you have chosen a Gag track and it does not matter what you have chosen, you can start getting Tracks. Go to Toon HQ and head to a HQ Officer. If you get an easy task for a track here, then take it. You need to think quickly so if the task might take too long, switch officers. If you get a laff boost then, take that if the other tasks are harder.

From here on out, choose the quickest tasks you can do for tracks. I will give a guide for all the laff boost tasks, but the track tasks you should be looking for is like: Defeat 2 Bottom Feeders, Cold Callers or Short Changes. OR Flunkies (Only in an invasion) Defeat 1-5 cogs. Defeat a Name Dropper, Tightwad or Double Talker. (Go to Donald’s Dock or Daisy Gardens if these tasks aren’t task specific you will find them much easier.) As soon as you stop getting easy tasks like I described above, look for a Laff Boost task or the 25 Gag Bag. Professor Pete – Toontown School House, TTC Playground. Upon accepting the task for Professor Pete, head straight out of Toon HQ and behind the library to find Toontown School House. Here, Professor Pete will give you the task of collecting 5 cog gears from level 2+ cogs. Your best bet is to look for an invasion like Bloodsuckers, Telemarketers, Penny Pinchers or Pencil Pushers. But if not, head outside and go straight into Silly Street. Fight every level 2 cog you approach. After obtaining 5 Cog Gears, head back to Professor Pete. After you arrive back in TTC Playground, check your gags whilst running to Professor Pete. If they are low, go ahead and restock. If you need jellybeans, always try to keep at least 5 so you can go fishing. (Note: If the pier is busy, head home and fish and then just teleport back.) Once the task has been turned in quickly turn around and head to Toon HQ to complete the task and gain 1 extra laff. Loony Louis - Used Clown Cars, Silly Street (Note: It’s best to have Level 3 gags before this task) As soon as you see this task TAKE IT. It proves to be helpful so much during the run. Earlier the better. Toon HQ tells you to go see Loony Louis. Head to Silly Street and go and see him. He tells you he needs tires fetched out of the playground’s pond. Luckily for us, the task doesn’t specify it. Head out the door and down the road to the street’s fishing pond. Fish 4 out and head back. Then he needs a pump so go see Lucy Tires. She will give you the pump but wants 6 level 3’s gone first. Head out, defeat them and come back. She gives you the pump, so head out and go see Loony Louis and get yourself a new gag bag. Now you can carry 25 gags. It’s best to carry your gags like this. Throw: Cupcake 3, Fruit Slice, 5, Cream Slice, 5 Squirt: Flower: 2, Water Glass, 5, Squirt Gun, 5 (Only applies to Rewritten) Woody Nickel - Funny Money Savings & Loan, Silly Street Once Toon HQ give you the task, visit Woody Nickel in Funny Money Savings & Loan. Woody Nickel will ask you to recover five adding machines from Cashbots anywhere. (If cashbots are hard to find, quickly go to Donald’s Dock and defeat some there. Return to Woody Nickel to start the next task to deliver the adding machines to Feather Duster in Tickle Machines, located on Silly Street. Feather Duster will ask you to recover ten cog gears from level three cogs or higher. Return the cog gears to Feather Duster to begin the final part of the task. Deliver the adding machines to Woody Nickel. Once done you get to carry 50 jellybeans.

Sharky Jones – 14 Karat Goldfish, Loopy Lane As soon as you see this task, the run will be so much faster. After completing about 9 tracks and having at least 23 laff and 25 gags, you should see this task and the rest of the run will be so much faster. Sharky Jones will request you to recover a Goldfish Receipt from any cog at anywhere. After recovering the Goldfish Receipt, return to Sharky Jones. He will ask you to deliver the Goldfish Receipt to Professor Wiggle, who is located in Professor Wiggle's House of Giggles on Punchline Place. After talking to Professor Wiggle, he will request you recover a Goldfish from Flunkies. After recovering the item, return the Goldfish to Sharky Jones. Sharky Jones will ask you to fish out four Goldfish from any pond. (Head straight back home as it’s faster.) After completing that task and returning to Sharky Jones, he will reward you. Honey Haha – The Laughin’ Place, Silly Street After accepting the task go see Honey Haha in The Laughin' Place, located on Silly Street. She will inform you of the Cog Radar and request you to defeat 8 level 2+ Cogs in Toontown Central. (Best done in an invasion) Once completed, you must return to an HQ Officer to redeem your reward. DO NOT GO BACK TO HONEY HAHA.

Professor Wiggle – Professor Wiggle’s House of Giggles, Punchline Place (Try to time this task in with a Bloodsucker invasion, for the best time) Go see Professor Wiggle in Professor Wiggle's House of Giggles, located on Punchline Place. He has ran out of octopus ink and requests that you fish some from the pond. He believes he will not run out of ink as much if Bloodsuckers stopped stealing it. He asks you to defeat 6 Bloodsuckers in Toontown Central. Once completed, return to Professor Wiggle to receive your reward. Stickly Lou – Blue Glue Direct 2 You, Loopy Lane (Most of these can be found just outside the shop, if not follow the guide above.) Go see Sticky Lou in Blue Glue (Direct 2 You), located on Loopy Lane. He has got himself stuck in glue and needs your help to get out. He asks you to defeat some Sellbots for some oil. When you return with the oil, it does not help with his situation and he sends you out to get some grease from Lawbots. As with the oil, this does not work. Finally, he sends you to collect some water from the Cashbots. Sticky Lou is finally free and grants you your reward. Teleport Access – Will Wiseacre - Wiseacre's Noisemakers, Loopy Lane As soon as you see Will Wiseacre, ACCEPT the task. It makes the task much easier since you are already on Loopy Lane when Will asks you to go see someone else. Will will tell you to visit one of three at their shops on Loopy Lane. Upon talking to the Shopkeeper, they will tell you that they have no customers because they lost their secret recipe book and no one comes to the restaurant anymore because the cogs had stolen it when they took over their building. They will then assign you to find their four famous recipes from the cogs. Any cog will do. When you have all four recipes, return to them and he will tell you to go to Toon HQ for your ability to teleport to Toontown Central. Talking to any of the HQ Officers will have them tell you that you now have teleport access to Toontown Central. FINAL TASK – Postmaster Pete - Toontown Post Office, Loopy Lane After completing all other ToonTasks in Toontown Central, you may proceed to complete the last animation frame for your gag training. Visit Postmaster Pete in Toontown Post Office, located on Loopy Lane. Postmaster Pete will ask you to recover a package from level three cogs or higher. (RNG may be a pain and this can take ages) After recovering the package, return to Postmaster Pete. Postmaster Pete will ask you to deliver the package to Dr. Tom in Dr. Tom Foolery, located on Silly Street in Toontown Central. After delivering the package, Dr. Tom wants you to defeat ten cogs in Toontown Central. (Best to do this in an invasion that is low level.) Return to Dr. Tom to complete your task. Dr. Tom will ask you to recover a package from the cogs anywhere. (RNG can again be a pain and this can potentially be the difference maker between PBing and not) Complete the task to get another task to deliver the package to Dr. Pulyurleg in Dr. Pulyurleg Chiropractor, located on Punchline Place. Return to Postmaster Pete. Postmaster Pete will ask you to recover another package from the cogs anywhere. (This kills a lot of my runs) Complete the task to receive another task to deliver the package to Dr. Pulyurleg. After delivering the package, Dr. Pulyurleg will reward you the final gag animation film.
