That glitch requires a bike which you can only get after Milo's gym. That video is just clickbait.
Also, if you aren't exactly tracking your IVs, always assume the worst :)
That refers to your Speed IV and nature.
In general, you read that notation as (negative nature / neutral nature / positive nature).
(31- / 8- / x) means: 31 IV or less with negative Speed nature (such as Quiet Nature), 8 IV or less with a neutral Speed nature (such as Modest), and never with a positive Speed nature (such as Timid).
As a side note, this specific shopping is done so you will have enough X-Speeds to use even if you get Rock Tomb on Gordie.
It's fairly common to get non-sensical suggestions in the forums for new games from people who do not even run the game.
We don't know. Also Top 5 in ORAS is Alpha Sapphire twice and Omega Ruby three times, so not sure where you're getting that info from.
Digital games are faster for Sword/Shield, so if you have the choice, I'd go with that, since it's not a negligible difference.
No, Citra is not allowed and is not accurate. It's also wrong that capture cards aren't made anymore. https://merki.net/ sells them again as he started doing business with the company that Katsukitty used to build the capture cards.
This subject is pending. You can discuss this in our Discord if you want. That said, it's two gyms, not one that is different.
@CastleWarrior01 Feel free to suggest that here: https://www.speedrun.com/pkmngen7ext/thread/osdlw
The purpose for me is that I am trying to make a script that creates a summary of all PBs people got this month for a given game series (Pokémon for instance).
Now we want to feature the actual ranking people got and if they use hidden emulators what rank they got with that. For instance Pokémon Red allows emulators and shows them by default. Pokémon Platinum allows emulators but hides them by default. Pokémon X bans emulators.
So I want to know how I can retrieve the leaderboards given those settings.
Good evening,
I've been trying to retrieve the exact setting for emulators for a game. It seems to only say whether emulators are banned or not. It won't say whether emulators aren't banned, but hidden by default.
Is there any way to retrieve this info?
A double fight turn takes roughly the same time as 2 single fight turns.
Geodude, you can probably finish in 1 turn, which is equal to 2 turns with Eevee. Onix, you can't finish in one turn with Bellsprout. Therefore it takes the equivalent of 4 turns with Eevee. In single battles, Eevee only needs 3 turns to defeat Onix.
In Pikachu, this is different, since Oddish can defeat Geodude without Pikachu even doing anything most of the time and Onix also only needs one turn, sometimes with Pikachu not even needing to deal any damage with Double Kick.

Hey @Napuc
We have recently added category extensions to our leaderboards. Feel free to post the request here: https://www.speedrun.com/pkmngen7ext/thread/osdlw
