Oh crap. I forgot to revert the previous runs in the DLC categories to put them in the correct subcategories.
Anyways, you're allowed to use ALTs here, I don't see a reason to ban them.
Actually, it would be a good addtition to the category extension, but the page needs a lot of fixes. It's a mess, lol. I could try to ask a ticket for a category extension just for this game.
Can we expect something soon then?
I'm sorry for my bad clarification in this forum. For me, shortcuts are the smash gates and/or anything that is outside the main roads. Jumps are only considered shortcut if they are used to cut roads. But I guess it's not a good addition then. I'm sorry.
I've come up with this idea. I suggest a "No Shortcut" subcategory for the Levels category. I think this could open a bigger diversity to this page and give more people the attempt and opportunity to own a WR.
My idea is: if a person doesn't use a single shortcut in their run, it should be in a different leaderboard ("No Shortcut"). However, if a person uses a single one, it will be quickly counted to "Glitchless/Any Glitch/No Traffic" leaderboard.
I understand that creating this subcategory might be hard now due to the amount of runs in this page, especially in the Level category, but I would like to offer myself in helping to move runs that were submitted in "Glitchless" and shortcuts were not used at all (if it happens to be accepted).
Thank you for your attention.
Hello!
I'm announcing the new addition of two sub-categories in the Full Game leaderboards: "Previous Generation" and "New Generation".
This happened because runners with the oldest consoles (PS4 or XBOX One) have a very big and unfair disadvantage against runners with the newest consoles (PS5, XBOX Series or PC) due to the game event loading times.
P.S. :
1 - PS4Pro is excluded from "Previous Generation" consoles, unless proof is shown that PS4Pro has the same loading times from PS4/XBOX.
2 - If your PC is a low-end PC (no SSD or is old), then you are allowed to put it in "Previous Generation".
Thank you for your understanding.
This sounds more of a Category Expansion thing rather than a category being added to this page, but it is just my point of view.
Hello! The staff of this page have decided to create a Discord server dedicated to this page! Unfortunately, it is not an official server made by the real DiRT 5 creators, nor it has an enhancing look, maybe, but we have done enough to make it an enjoyable place!
You can get it from here: https://platinmods.com/threads/csr-classics-ver-3-1-1-mega-mod-menu-unlimited-gold-unlimited-cash-unlimited-fuel-8-features.203775/ (you must create an account to install the mod)
There is a CSR Racing mod, but I don't know from which website it comes from, neither a page for the game exists in this website.
I accidentally deleted the forum with the new changes in the page, so I am recovering and reposting it, with a few changes.
Hello! It's a pleasure to announce that the planned changes to this website page are now live, which adds a new feeling to the page! So, what's new?
- "Time Trial" leaderboards have now sub-categories per car class, which allows more diversity for the runs!
- New "Full Game" leaderboards, that includes not only a 100% Campaign sub-category, but also the DLC Content Pack campaigns too (with Any% and 100% leaderboards)!
- "15,000 DIRT Dollars" is now a sub-category in Campaign leaderboard to preserve the previous runs subbited in the leaderboard.
- A new theme to the page! Badges for the first two places might come soon, including a brand new icon for the page.
- Rewritten rules. Please check them.
- Weather annotations for every Time Trial leaderboards!
- Campaign Mode levels leaderboard removal. The runs in that leaderboard were passed to the Time Trial mode. THOSE RUNS ARE THE ONLY EXCEPTION FOR TIME TRIAL LEADERBOARDS. ANY OTHER RUN MADE IN ARCADE MODE AND NOT IN TIME TRIAL MODE WILL NOT BE COUNTED INTO THE TIME TRIAL LEADERBOARD.
- Rewritten the Levels (circuit) names and rules.
- Added Sprint car class and Pathfinder class and circuits!
I don't think so. It has a lot of different content added in it that I believe it is not related to the story, to just make the game more "entertaining" I suppose.
The Porsche 911 RGT is a very good car for most tracks, since it's handling and power are great. However, it grasps too much on the floor in a few tracks that include terrain elevations, making the Fiat a better choice.
The Jimco Unlimited Class 1 is slower than the Jimco Unlimited Truck, but there are a few tracks that the Jimco Unlimited Class 1 is better.
Since I am a new moderator in this page, and I have talked with the super-moderator of this page (@GodTierGamer), I have applied some changes on this page, with more opportunities for people to get more WRs!
The changes are:
-
New categories for the different types of events in the game, such as Ladder, Restriction, Car Specific, and Crew Battles!
-
The exclusive Manufacturer event for Tier 4 is now a thing!
-
Sub-categories for Tiers was added, so the runs are organized by tiers!
-
Re-written rules, being more clear.
-
Re-made Fastest 1/4 Mile category as a new category for levels!
-
Sub-categories for the "Full Game" runs (Story Mode) were made!
A theme for the page is coming soon too.
