Will there be a category for multiplayer runs?

I have a few questions about the leaderboard and its rules.

1. When exactly does timing start and end? its not really specified in the rules.
2. Will there be a category for world 2 speedruns? Possibly even a category for running both worlds?

Due to the amount of runs that where submitted over the past year or so, It is very possible we accidentally verified some stolen runs. If you find any, post them under this thread. Please also link the original run so we can confirm it is actually stolen.

Any runs confirmed to be stolen will be reported to Site Staff.

It has come to my attention that this leaderboard has been horribly outdated for months, missing some dungeons and stuff like that. Im currently going through and trying to update everything.

I noticed this game was on playstation aswell, does this board also track runs on that version?

This post was made due to the massive backlog of runs. Queue times are over 4 months right now. I hope this helps get runs submitted after the huge wave verified quicker.

It has come to my attention that over 10% of runs currently in queue are duplicates of other runs in queue/existing runs. Please do not submit the same run multiple times. It will not speed up the verification, It only slows us down. Even if its by accident any duplicated runs will be rejected. Please make sure to delete any duplicate runs you may have submitted (you can check the runs you have pending here: https://www.speedrun.com/pendingactions . Other than we are making good progress on the queue and are expecting it to go bellow 10k at the end of the year.

If your run gets rejected with the reason "Duplicate", then it was found to be a duplicate. Do not resubmit if this happens unless you are 100% sure it was a mistake

Posting on the forum begging for your run to be verified will not speed it up, If you want your run to be verified quicker. send a verifier/moderator the link to your run on speedrun.com. DO NOT JUST SEND THE VIDEO, WE CAN NOT FIND YOUR RUN WITH THIS. Even if you do not do this, every run will be reviewed at one point, We can not ignore a run in queue. So even it it feels like your run is being ignored, its not, we just haven't gotten to it yet. The oldest run in queue right now is nearly 3 month's old, With over 15.9k runs ahead of it. We are making progress but its incredibly slow. If your run has been in queue for a while, DO NOT submit the run again, It will only make verification slower. And will lead to the duplicate being rejected.

We are trying our best so please remember:

• We are volunteers doing this in our free time, we do not get payed for this.
• Some of us actually have lives outside the internet.
• Every run is manually checked and retimed.

There is over 17000 runs in queue, we are trying our best to get through them all. Thanks everyone for your patience.

The game had no mods once again, I requested to be mod as I had a run pending for over a month and now I am supermod, I don't see myself actively running this so if any other person also has interest let me know and i will see if i can add them.

Rules updated, all runs are being reverified with the new rules. So if you where wondering why its empty rn or your run dissapeared thats why.

Could there be more categories, maybe a category for the other minigame that isn't the boss fight thingy? (Maybe a highscore based thing)

The category rules are empty, I did a run with what i think it would be but im asking here just to make sure.
