Hello runners! I'm happy to announce that I will be hosting a first ever I Expect you to Die 2 speedrunning tournament!

There will be an event for all missions any% as well as an event for each individual level any% Speedrun.

For 1 whole week (Monday, june 20th, to june 26th, ending at midnight EST), submit runs attempted/completed DURING the time period in order to potentially win the prizes on each event!

Prizes for events are as follows. All missions ANY% ($20 USD from DMG) Stage fright ANY% ($5 USD from DMG) Jet set ANY% ($5 USD from DMG) Eaves Drop ($5 USD from DMG) Party Crasher ($5 USD from DMG) Safe & Sound ($5 USD from DMG) Rising Phoenix ($5 USD from DMG) RANDOM PARTICIPANT ($10 USD from DMG) (any place, random, using a spinner wheel with all submitters' names on it)

I will be competing, but any prizes that could/would be going my way if I place high will be passed on to the next place down. This week approaching you are free to prepare. We're working on an honor system as for how to verify when the run took place, but to keep it fun for all of us, ONLY SUBMIT RUNS ATTEMPTED DURING THE PERIOD!

If anybody else would like to add to the prize pool (for specific levels or as a whole) you can dm me and pledge your addition to the tournament.

I enjoy the idea but I'd like to see a little more action in the current categories before any more variations are added.

You put your head into the cart after starting the level outside of the bounds of the level. The screen will not turn black and you will be able to interact with stuff where you normally cant

We are experimenting with using full game runs to fill up the Individual level categories with more runs, if you have a full game run and no individual level runs and would like to opt in to us manually adding your ILs let us know on here or message me

I second this I at least think "die% stabless% should be category on its own.

Do i cut out the (i think its one) loading screen between the red death screen and the death briefcase? i can see this category getting very optimized

It's got alot of potential and is very skill based and fun to run
