I will say it again.
Delete the posting of this run.
I did not give you permission to put this run on this forum.
Please don't.
You deleted the comments?
Don't be silly.
I opened Speedrun.com, checked the notifications, and saw that you had added your mod to the resources without my permission.
When I tried to question you about it, all the comments were gone.
You deleted them.
What do you want to do, twist the rules, make me look bad, and play the victim?
Discussion? This is not even a discussion.
It's just that you didn't follow the rules, you violated the regulations on your own, and I had to waste days and days on your selfishness.
All you have to do is write "I will follow the rules next time" and it's over.
I already wrote about why I don't want to put out an infobox just for IGT.
“I don't want to put in unnecessary information” and “possibility of cheating during darkening”.
External timer retrofitting?
Deny recording by OBS, etc. and then make us use editing software?
The only reason you are allowed to edit the localized file is because it was originally an in-game option.
Is there a function in vanilla Haydee3 where you can press F7 to bring up the mod menu you created? There isn't, is there?
LiveSplit doesn't interfere with game files unless you have AutoSplit.
It is pointless to have this discussion as long as it was originally decided by the rules, but let's check just to be sure.
Haydee can open the infobox by pressing the F1 key to check the internal data.
However, in my personal opinion, this infobox is full of useless information other than IGT when measuring time, and it significantly interferes with the game screen.
Moreover, the game screen goes dark when moving from one area to another.
Of course, if the screen is dark, the measured time cannot be seen, so cheating is possible if you take your time.
It is out of the question to make it impossible to check the measured time.
In Resident Evil RTA, if a part of the verification video is cut off for some reason, the recording will be rejected even if the time on the results screen is well displayed.
You get the idea.
With an external tool like LiveSplit, you don't have to worry about that because the timer is always on the screen.
That's why I set it up with real-time measurement and rules, not IGT.
So, just to confirm, do you prefer real-time measurement or IGT measurement?
BTW, using a mod that only shows IGT is defined as editing the game file and is not allowed in the rules.
If you say that on the grounds that the use of LiveSplit is not included in the rules, should it be included in the rules?
It is easy to understand that everyone uses timer tools such as LiveSplit because the rules say real-time measurement, is it still necessary?
If you have a PC that can play Haydee3, it's not hard to run LiveSplit and record while running an external tool such as OBS.
The reason I want real-time compliance instead of IGT is that infoboxes are too much useless information and are a distraction.
Even if the timer is stopped with a slight discrepancy between the start and end times, there is no way to shorten the time by that level of cheating, and the click sound and the start of the timer will immediately tell you.
The records on the leaderboard do not indicate seconds or less.
Such cheating is meaningless.
Besides, you're supposed to submit a recording video to verify that kind of thing.
The infobox is mandatory in Haydee2, but not in Haydee1. The autosplitter in Haydee1 appeared shortly before DooMKa erased his record.
Until then, I've always done timer start and stop manually, nothing wrong with that.
The tool is LiveSplit.
The start and stop methods are each assigned a key.
In order to measure the exact time, the rules include a starting point that is easy for anyone to understand.
I didn't want an infobox that was unnecessary except for IGT.
The rules also say real-time measurement, not IGT.
It is too unsuitable to use video playback time as a real-time measurement.
The second walker's passageway is much wider than I thought it would be.
I guess the first one is a bit of a quandary.
This game has a much larger enemy contact detection than one would expect.
It is impossible to progress through the PIPES area without a pistol.
We have created a tutorial category.
The rules are... well, Any% compliant.
Oh my god...
I didn't think it was possible, but it really can't be reproduced in the current version.
Thanks for letting me know.
You're right, if I just want to run, that's good enough for me.
When I run, I'll be mature enough to shoot my way through it, thanks.
I'll change my question.
Is this slasher through method used by first through third place still a reproducible technique? (I'm talking about in the small room where the handguns are kept.)
Is there any update that makes it no longer reproducible?
Just so I'm not misunderstood, I'm not suspecting any rule violations, etc.
I'm simply wondering because I can't reproduce it even once, no matter how many hours I spend on it.
I didn't expect you to reply so soon, thanks.
That was probably on the stairs, no problem there.
The problem is right after I get the handgun, the slasher constantly blocks the way in the narrow corridor and keeps complementing and attacking Haydee without moving.
The recording video shows the slasher moving behavior to clear the way, but I can't reproduce the same situation no matter how many times I try.
Is there any way to guide them?
I have one question.
When I watch the recorded video of this game, it appears that after taking the handgun in the first room where you take the handgun, the slasher moves all the way to open up a spot when going through the incoming slasher.
I have just done this myself hundreds of times and have never been able to reproduce this technique.
Is there some update or something that has come in that makes it impossible to do this?
We know there is no benefit to localization or skins.
Whatever it is about the camera, I believe it is an important element that is involved in the game's controls and other aspects of the game.
I am not surprised that you are not happy with the record.
As long as you are breaking the rules, my record and yours is not fair.
