Hello, everyone.
Just a quick announcement to let you all know that we are officially banning Twitch VODs from all games on the FNaF Series, because they expire after 2 weeks. Please turn them into a highlight, or re-upload them to YouTube.
I think this is something that can come to the community and make the game a lot more fun to speedrun. By this, I mean if someone had created a Community Gold spreadsheet and it was fairly frequently updated. I've seen stuff like this in the Ratchet and Clank speedrunning series, Getting Over It, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic, and lots of other places. If we have a Community Gold chart, someone with the power to can edit and create community segmented runs, which includes the best times for everything, which can give us more ideas on what to improve on and what to get more consistent at with speedrunning, and make this an even more optimized game. Leave your ideas and opinions below this, since I really think this is a good idea. It could bring in some more hype to the game and speedrunning, whilst making seemingly impossible goals much more possible and brought into the light. And, yes, these have to be legitimate, streamed gold times, since making a community gold chart has to be a legitimate one, and that means making golds off stream or local recording will not count.
Hey all. I'm back again, and this probably as sudden as when I left, but I have thought about it and, honestly, I need to speedrun this game. If people that used to be really good at speedrunning this game do come back, someone needs to be there to spice up the competition and make it to where speedrunning is friendly competition instead of easily taking records without any real threat and danger that your record might be taken over. Anyways though, I'm back to speedrunning the game. Let's do this. :)
Yeah, so you all are probably shocked that I removed almost all of my runs from the leaderboards and I resigned as a moderator from FNAF World. I have some reasons behind why I think I should do this. First of all, this game will probably never be revived and if it ever does get revived, anything that would happen will not involve speedrunning this game, but finding out some more important lore stuff. Secondly, I feel like I need to focus more on other things than FNAF World. FNAF World, while yes it's fun to speedrun, has sort of started taking a toll on me. It became very repetitive and very boring because I need to be doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again to be able to get even close to something that I would consider "good." I'm sorry if I have hit you all on the head hard with this message, but I'm taking my hiatus, and it starts now.

I've been talking with Dark recently, and I realize something huge that's been keeping him from a lot of the records that he has; loading times. Some speedrunners in this community have very fast loading times (e.g. Dhulkan, with 5-second load screen times), while some others have very slow loading times (e.g. SheppardKiller in his 100% run with 8+ second load times). This is making speedrunning unfair for some people that have worse equipment than others, specifically for Dark trying to take Dhulkan's records. So, I thought, should we get rid of loading times? This would make speedrunning this game much easier to optimize, and a lot more fun to play. Leave your thoughts in the comments, and I will read all of them.

I try to find your discord tag on Discord and it says that the information is wrong and the user doesn't exist. Did you change your ID? And if so, what is the new ID so I can add you?

As the first person to have ever completed the "Chipper Ending" speedrun with the world record of 27m 49s on Hard Mode, you can either make the run faster by making the run significantly easier by doing any mode you want (Normal or Hard) which could probably result in sub-23 because of how much less health Chipper has. In Hard Mode, if you book it through the whole run, you can probably pull of a sub-27:30 which would be insanely lucky to pull off and make the run much harder. Not to say that the run is difficult by any stretch, it is really a cakewalk and you can do all the bosses super easily up until Chipper himself. Chipper is a very difficult boss to handle and this is why I think this category of speedrunning has never been completed before.
