There are plenty of capture card options that fall way below the €200 mark
Just guessing that as a web based game it probably didn't receive much attention as do most flash games, you could probably complete a run and submit the game to the site if you think people would be interested though.
In the resource section on the site under the "More" drop down box there is a timer program that says works with Mac OS called Time Split Tracker, I'd give that one a try.
No one has asked for mods to be removed, they are simply arguing for the fact that Buju perhaps shouldn't have been demodded. There's substantial evidence that he made changes to the board a few days before being removed as a mod and if you've read the previous history of the thread that usually is a condition for keeping mods active on a game. So far the only real basis for your argument is that he hasn't ran the full game, but for me he still has run a category that exists for said game and when that element of your argument is removed the only thing left here is negative and condescending comments, ones that don't necessarily contain the maturity I would think a mod to have when the thread should be for simple civil discussion, not calling people stupid and being rude to people you have other wise never had any contact with.
If the demo is half the game then I don't see why it's relevant. People that speedrun Super Mario Bros. Any% technically run less than half of the game but I don't think you would bring that up as a reason to de-mod. We are obviously reading it but it doesn't mean it holds much merit because he still had completed speed runs of a version of the game that is still available for speed running and is still even a category on the boards.
I don't run this game but for most other games it only becomes an issue to differentiate between game versions when there is a glitch introduced that changes a route substantially, useless glitches for speed running or very minimal time saver glitches generally don't warrant new version sub-categories to be added for a game.
Just want to chime in on the issue with the Monolith boards and say that if Buju is an active user that verified runs and was making changes to the board in the last week then should he not still be a moderator for the game? The point of the thread afterall isn't to usurp active mods and Buju clearly has made changes within the month (what seems to be the cut off time for requesting moderator status in a game). Beyond that I'm sure there are mods of other games that only run 1 or 2 of the games categories despite many games having many categories, and that also shouldn't exempt him as mod. And finally as a side note I think he properly responded to hostility and rudeness, becoming rude the moment you get a response that is something other than "sure I'll hand you mod" doesn't exactly help your case for becoming moderator.
Some video editting programs like Sony Vegas come with tools to provide on screen timers for such things, always worth a shot if you have nothing else.
A little late to the thread but I used to be into record hunting in Marble Blast Ultra, pulling under 1k rank for every level on the Xbox Live leaderboards. If you're still around and offering keys I would love to try out and speed run this game.
