This is a cool category, just for clarity to help making into an actual category I would make a list of what you consider to be “op weapons” if there are some other than the 3 you listed. Like a base damage that you weapons can’t go over maybe?

Yeah, pointcrow and smallant have at least attempted it, but it most likely won’t become an official category.

@Envixityy the problem with that is you have to do the Water Temple first to unlock that. A GSI 100% would include probably about 50% of the run off of the GSI, and that doesn’t make sense to me. Idk, maybe they add it. This is just how I feel.

I would just watch the runs. There probably isn’t a better strategy than what they have found.

Right. So to run this you activate the temple, then just teleport back to the start point. Ofc you can leave and get additional preparation as well.

Yeah and they most likely won’t add any more categories because of how old this game is. If you wanted a run with the talus, just do GP 100%.

I feel like just getting every gem would be enough, getting the paraglided cloth and using it seems unnecessary.

Probably this: -all shrines -all lightroots -all dungeons -all koroks -all bubbul gems (all caves) -all map locations -all main quests -all side quests Maybe other things, or something less. This would just be my guess.

I ran BotW and was unable to record the switch, but set my phone up where you could easily see the tv screen and it was fine.

I’m new to speed running and am ready to submit a run. However, I am having trouble getting the timer on my video because they were record separately. Is a timer necessary for the run? I saw video in the rules but not timer, but all runs I’ve seen have one. Do I need to put the timer on before I submit?
