the game will get fixes still but before runs start to happen i would like to just warn about this glitch because if we allow it to happen all runs we'll only see the sky lol
you can do this while running and jumping forward, meaning we can just skip a lot of stuff
to do it just jump then mash R1, triangle and X
i meant the codes from the computer inside the game at the school entrance, not outside programs. i think it could at least be a separate category
I don't know if the monster follows some form of pattern but if not it's annoying that you could lose a run due to having to hide from it or getting caught
friendly monster and infinite stamina would make runs faster
An official release is out https://gamejolt.com/games/residentevilsurvive/913180
i'm fine with it being on the black screen after you skip cutscene like you did on your pb, but on genos last hit is not going to happen, black screen gives you more time to split correctly instead of reaching for the split shortcut while still doing the fight
i got interested in running this game but there's no speedrun+ category to play. Any chance it could be added to the leaderboard?
still gotta check if there's any other places right before a cutscene that have a long jump to be done. Will do runs soon :)
(i move analog forward and press jump right before the game shows up again)
Good run! you can warp to the hangar on the first invasion by the way!
reminder that you can pause and warp to the commander after the invasion is over!
After flame drill is only hangar so didn't include it
E stands for Enemy
after you get the ice kunai and you go face the wind boss you can enter throwing kunais and the super to deal damage to her before she transforms, haven't managed to actually kill or know if that will softlock us or what but worth investigating
i've spent some time trying to get OoB. I was throwing the ball around trying to find any place without invisible walls and the ball got stuck there. I tried to get OoB on Lab and got on top of the desk with the body on it but couldn't do much else
That's because wasting your stamina bar till it goes red actually saves more time somehow, before this run i always stopped before it went red but i noticed there's a reasonable time save if you actually go red.
