But why does it take the combination of the fast accel and the fpg to save the framerule in 8-1 and not in the other levels?

Why do top runs do a fast accel only in 8-1 instead of all levels. And also what is the point of slowing down off the pipe in 8-3? These are just random questions that I can’t find answers to.
