Depression skip is hit on the exact frame that Roland greys out on the map menu. You can progress the game frame by frame easier by using the resume button which will let you go back into the menu as soon as possible. If you have any more inquiries, please join the speedrunning discord as there is a number of resources to help out and people to get advice from.

If you're able to get it first or second try it would probably be faster than the regular route, I think the main gripe I have is that you need to kill the crab at the top in the current route, and coming up from behind makes it harder to quick kill them by knocking them off the cliff the way you came up.

We have moved leaderboard start date to Monday, May 6th, to have just a little more time to finalize the auto splitter. Thank you all for your patience.

Another Crab's Treasure

It's come to my attention that not everyone is going to be in the discord server, so here is some information as to what is happening with the boards:

We are currently waiting at least a week (May 2nd) before putting boards up. This will give time for routing, trick finding, and tool development. If you would like to take part in all of this, please use the discord link found at the top of the SRC page near the title of the game. We will be starting out with these categories:

- Any%, which would not allow assist options, but all glitches are a go.

- Assist Mode, which would be Any% but assist options are allowed MINUS the gun.

- Gun%, where all assist options are allowed. Voting on whether to make it so you have to only use the gun or not will commence Around when the boards will go up.

Quacksilver has also put together a spreadsheet that will serve as a place to put category extension / pre-SRC board runs. If you have a silly idea for a run and run it, you can put it there!
