I was thinking, since roughly every level has a hidden Blue Coin in it (even 4-5...), it would probably be cool to have a BlueCoin% category: Get all hidden Blue Coins as fast as possible. (This can maybe include the ones found in coin piles? Although I remember there being one of those in, for example, Morpho Knight Sword Treasure Road... It's up to any of you to include Treasure Roads or not.)
The only thing I see stopping this though, is the fact that people may have not found every Blue Coin in the game yet. I wouldn't blame them, this game is full of hidden secrets...
This is called playing the main mode. You sleep in real life.
Alternatively, just look at the runs on this site... The original post talked about speedruns...
Honestly, I'd just say a sub-category for each helper would do. There's no need for the leaderboard to be infested with Bonkers. That and heck, the True Arena WRs are usually done with Copy + Mike + Hammer, where that wouldn't fit, while in HtH you're locked to one character. Either this or how the leaderboard is done for Star Allies' Ultimate Choice, idk.
This really shouldn't be added. Meme categories can be fun, sure, but they don't fit in a game like this. This ain't like the Odyssey Nipple% run.
Yeah, I guessed as much, what I DO find odd, is that it somehow works on midbosses.
@ OddPandemonium Game Over glitch is banned on these leaderboards anyway.
Normally when you die, boss HP gets reduced. This reverts back when you exit your current mode though.
However, if you get a Game Over, their health stays reduced, even if you shut off the game.
I myself am still trying to look into it myself though, as it almost seems like something permanent, I dunno. After all, I saw a Three Mage-Sisters run where every single boss is affected by this, without any Game Overs shown, unless some really good editing was done for that video.
I mean, by that logic, neither does Soul Melter's, since EX gives so many points, and the top 3 on your game's leaderboard is based off the scores of all difficulties.
Makes me wonder why Infernal Crisis was never there in the first place though. Soul Melter EX is basically like a Truer Arena, Soul Melter was True Arena. Infernal Crisis was basically like the regular Arena, you even face the regular Void Termina at the end.
Also are the original Guest Star runs gonna be on a different board now, by my understanding? If so that's nice, I've been doing NESP runs every now and then.
