When you got that teleportation potion in the Jungle, I was wondering if you were going to use it... :D
I did all 3 of these runs at the same time, but you only beat two of them :>
Check out Category Extensions, it sounds like you're talking about NG+
Yeah it might be possible to add it as a category for 1.4.5+, as it appears that secret seeds will get moved to an options menu that you can pick from, and there might be a seed window.
Fishing and Travelling Merchant RNG? We already have one fishing-based category, Cooked Fish, and there have been 2 runs submitted in the last year. I'm sorry, but that's too much RNG even for people who like resetting for good Plantera Bulbs :/
The only problem with this is that we already have Torch God%, and generally we don't like adding new categories that require you to do all the steps of an already-existing category. But if Torch God% didn't exist, then I think your idea would be great! :>
Torch God% doesn't say that you can't play co-op, so go for it! There are no category distinctions on the Category Extensions page :)
Was this not meant to go in the Post-Game category?
Dang, I gotta improve my time in this category or you'll soon beat me :D
Yeah but there's like 2 people who play Terraria on console. Mobile runs have been submitted and accepted in the past, as Mobile 1.4.0.5 is very similar to PC 1.4.0.5, but I'm not sure if we've ever dealt with a "modern console" run. Lastly, 3DS and Old-Gen are just too different from the PC version to really host on the boards. Different bosses, different game progression, and sometimes different items entirely. An EoC run on 3DS might work, but how would we even host an Ocram run done on WiiU 1.2.4?
Yeah there's 2 files + 1 folder per characterm and 3 files per world, but only one file for each actually stores the data. I honestly don't know what the other 2 do. Perhaps stuff like map exploration, or time played? Either way, the stuff you want to be copying is the .plr file and the .wld file, for players and worlds. The others just don't matter at all.
A full-game run has its place on the 3DAS page, but for ILs, would anything be different? Doesn’t SMG do all it’s loading at the beginning of the level, so operating system wouldn’t make any difference for a single level?

They are already variables, but not their seperate categories. If you click on Filter, then Difficulty, then Master, the site only displays Master Mode runs. However, there is no variable for hardcore, as it almost never affects the actual gameplay
There is, but I'm not sure how. Ask Dajen for the specifics. I believe it has something to do with verifying the integrity of your game files? Can't quite remember. It can't reset the achievements in steam, but it will turn the icons grey ingame, and will notify you when you get them.
I believe Dajen was the one who did that. I think it could be lowered to 5-6 hours on seeded Journey with some practice, but it's on the fence between interesting and awful. They are plenty of longer categories for other games, so it's perfectly fine to go for it, but I doubt it will be made an official category. It might still get you those sweet clicks tho ;D
