No free cam is the one to use, auto puts the camera at an angle where its almost impossible to land on the coins. When you get on the coins by landing if you go too fast the camera will change is what im saying. Also when about to land on the coins you need to do a homing attack cancel to clear the distance. A homing attack cancel is A, then immediately B

So, i assume your in free camera, when landing on the coins if you go too fast the camera will change

Have you tried doing a jump cancel in the air to land on the coins, thats what helped me the first time around.also what do u have trouble with clipping into the wall, landing on the coins, or jumping from the coins to the emerald/capsule

I know but he gets them afterwards, since we need them to get into red mountain, but now that ive skipped red mountain we dont need the light dash at all! Saving about 30 seconds if done correctly

Update I DID IT I CAN GET CASINOPOLIS WITHOUT LIGHT DASH!!!! DUDE THIS CATEGORY IS DEAD

i mean if he wants. If i could find a way to get into casinopolis we could skip the light dash shoes exactly for sonics story, that would be GREAT, SAVE LIKE 30 SECS
