Even though I have bought the GOG version, curious to see how it plays myself and want to support DC any way I can as I want a remake! :D
I'm happy to continue running Rebirth tbh, but if there's no major issues with differences and there's the chance it might improve the accessibility of running the game for potential new runners. I'm all for including it :)
The DC2 GOG release has potentially improved accessibility for me to run that, so hopefully it might do the same for DC1 too :)
I know a cutscene skip mod like RE2 just got would greatly improve uptake but I'm one of the ones out there that actually likes the cutscenes haha!
RE Curious Dino Crisis runner here... My sweet summer child... lol
Not sure if this helps but the in game time tracker is version specific (unless its been updated)... The version I downloaded a few months ago doesn't work with the PAL version. But it does work with the NTSC-J & NTSC-U versions. Its not an autosplitter as far as I'm aware would still have to split manually but the in game timer works fine.
Still a pretty cool tool for running though! Will be cool to use it! I guess the calculator would be better for use after the run then?
On the subject of running though, I have Redux downloaded. So cool one of the devs decided to revisit the game. Will play a bit casually, get me back into the swing of things. Then I'll probably try running it :)
Hi I loved me some Rollcage back in the day and giving some serious thought to trying a speedrun of the game. Got a question regarding the IGT Calculator. Does it work in conjunction with Liveplit or does the app the file comes with work independently from it?
