For ILs, as explained in the rules, for NG+ having access to the Director Mode Menu and bringing additional Vehicles into the Mission/Hobby is allowed.

For non NG+, you aren't allowed to smuggle a vehicle into a mission, except for street races where you can start with any vehicle.

1. Make sure you have all missions selected you want it to split on. Stranger&Freaks have their seperate category. There are options for many things so take some time looking through them. For example starting/ending the timer for all segments, splitting on collectibles and many other stuff.
2. It only works on Patch 1.27 - Even if you launch the game through p127 make 100% sure you are ACTUALLY on patch 1.27 by checking bottom right corner while launching the game.
3. In the rather rare case you are using the social club launch method from p127 in conjunction with owning the game on steam the autosplitter will not work. You'll need to switch to one of the other 2 p127 launch methods.

I assume you're talking about console. To run a category longer than an hour your two options are to use a capture card, or stream the run and highlight it.

This is a handbrake start and is well known about yeah. Gives you the same kind of boost as mid driving.

Yes, the duping itself works. However on latest patch you cant do the OOB done in wr to get back in (you can on 1.00), so you'd either do the older method as is done in jolielegal's 7h30 any%classic run, or you can use a ledge buffer to get back inside

You don't need a timer on screen, just run a timer along side so you know how long it took with manual splitting. People typically use either livesplit on another PC or a mobile app called frame perfect.
