ScotlandI think it's because you jumped near or at the start of the transition. Also, in the video (which unfortunately buffered for me a lot) I couldn't see if you killed the 3 Heartless in that fight, can you confirm if you killed them and if so did the game not progress?
I would believe so, as Suits, Suit Powers, Gadgets and Mods carry over. If normal level bonuses such as Swing Speed and Focus Bars are carried over then it is only logical to assume that the 1% bonuses are carried over. If this were the case then a rule should be made to make runs that start with files that are level 51 or higher invalid as this allows a small yet existing advantage over files that are level 50 or less.
As much as I understand that runners can be frustrated by getting the same questions asked again and again I feel that this was definitely the wrong approach. Trying to be a more kind and approachable community is what promotes growth in the community and in the game that you run. That's just my opinion, if you would like to discuss this at all I'll try to frequent the forums a couple times a day over the weekend.
Have any runners attempted to run the game without any fast travel? Timing your swings between speed and height and keeping your speed up through turns makes for fun yet challenging movement imo
I feel like that should be 101% as opposed to true 100%. Then again I'm corny. ?
Plat% and 100% should be separate as people have gotten the Tombstone Takedown Trophy without actually completing the fight with Tombstone (I myself have the screenshot of the trophy showing up during the pre-fight cutscene). Also doing things like visiting Ben's Grave at the top of the map and climbing Avenger Tower isn't required in a 100% file.
Someone asked if True 100% would equate to getting the Platinum Trophy I'd like to just throw this out there that you can get the Trophy for Tombstone without fighting him so Plat% and 100% should be separate categories. Not to mention you don't need to visit Ben's Grave or climb Avenger Tower to 100% the game.
How would people feel about having an Any% All Missions Run. This can allow people to skip collectibles and do the side missions?
I would have to disagree with you there Uberphenom. Having a no fast travel run would allow a lot of optimised movement. It may make the category longer but it also can make it fun for potential runners.
This exploit seems like it could be performed as early as the Dualhorn Dave sends you to kill in Chapter 1. Would shave a lot of time in a speed run but would this require a new category like Any% Glitchless?
That's cool that there's no restriction there OOT but why not just make a "Restricted" Category and then a Category where items like Nyxperiece Band and the Fanfare Accessories are allowed?
