Just as Steven explained you, the Cursed Ring prevents you to level up trough the run and that's the condition for a level 6 run.

Considering that the demo is not a level of the full game I think "Demo Any%" it should be moved to Miscellanious. I mean, yeah, the demo is the chapter 1 of the game but it's the demo. Making the chapters of the full game a level run would be more suitable than the demo. So my thought it's that, the demo suits better as a Miscellanious category.
