We already have runs from PS4 streaming on the different leaderboards. It just requires more efforts for mods because the PS4's timer is not always accurate, but it's fine.
Sometimes you have this kind of accident, even on ps4. The PS4's timer wasn't there, but even if it was, saying that the timer is always accurate is not that much simple, just because it never happened to your own runs.
I'm not sure what the problem was in that clip. He was just playing without the stream HUD. Can you link an example of a stream where the PS4 timer didn't tell the correct time?
Hello,I'm interested in running TLoK ! Been playing this game for years since it came out,and I have it on PS4.I'd like to ask how the PS4 runs are checked ? Do I need to separate splits or anything? Do I need some sorte of device in order for my run to be examined,approved and posted ? Sorry for asking too many questions,I'm kinda new to this speedrun thing I'm kinda profane to this kinda of stuff.Do I just have to stream or record my run through the ps4 recording option normally,so the mods can check it?
All you need is a video of the run. The mods will check the time themselves to make sure you submitted the correct time. You don't need to do anything special. You can stream it or record it offline.
