Hey guys, I just finished playing the game and since Iwanted to get into speedrunning anyways I thought this might be a good start. I play on Xbox. Do you guys maybe have some advice for me?

Hi! This will be redundant advice for you since you already did this, but for anyone else who happens on this thread, join our Discord and check out the tutorials in Resources. We'll be happy to give new runners advice and tips on how to get better :)

If you're new to speed running, not just speed running this game, I'd say patience is most important. It's counterintuitive but a speed run can be hours of starting over because of the slightest bad rng at any point in the run, and all you can do is breathe and start over.

Just practice lots and just have fun :))

The most important thing is to enjoy and use explore.Use your creativity，and this game won't let you down.Have fun！

As someone who recently picked up this game i can really recomend it as a speedrun game. This is because of a couple of reasons.

1. There are so many recources thanks to this community to help you learn.

2. for almost everything there is a easy, hard or sometimes super hard strat. So if your goals is to learn the run. you start easy get a good time and slowely learn harder stuff to improve your time. And even if you go the easy rout your run will still be super fast.

3. A big active supportive community.

So i would say go for it :D
