I know IcantDoSpeedruns does. There's a RWBY Speedrunning Discord, too.
I'm looking into running this game, but I'm first focusing on Hunter Ranks. That'll also give me time to learn skips and all that.
I spent an hour this morning trying to do the first skip as blake and just couldn't get enough height to clear the wall
Awesome! and yes we still have Speedrunners! Feel free to add me on steam and I can show you or verbally help you learn any trick or answer any questions you might have about this game!
With the full release of the game and the ability to pick characters between stages, is there any plan on setting up an Any% Solo w/multiple characters, or are we just supposed to pick 1 and go for it?
As of right now all the catagories seem to suggest pick one and go, but a multiple character run would be fun, the only issue is that you would probably only see really 1 or 2 characters in the runs ever.
also if anyone could give me a quick explination of how skips with blake work, i cant seem to get that hight yet.
The only problem is... Majority of the players rather play just as 1 all the way through. To show their skill with that single character, and if you wanted the fastest possible run. You would just end up picking Blake throughout the entire game.
So something that can be done is RWBY% Runs, which is playing all the way through the campaign 4 times once with each character. Showing skill with every character, and not just one. @MechSupport
Also @MechSupport Please add me on Steam. I posted my Profile link in a previous comment! Love to teach you somethings, such as why LLH On Weiss works only sometimes and that shouldn't be completely relied on.
Awesome! I just added you. The only trick I knew was the Weissboost (at least that's what we've been calling it on the SDA forums), and I was able to use it to do major skips. I was doing it very consistently until a couple days ago when I tried to stream a few speedrun attempts, at which point I had a 0% success rate.
Fantastic. Well All times right now will be getting changed... And selections I think it should be set as: Normal or Eclipse as the only selection of difficulties, making it much like the Halo's Speedruns Also, @DiabloGamer feel free to add me on Steam :)
Clickspark and I would love invites for the discord to talk to you guys about the run if someone can link us. :)
Ah sure thing! I noticed your time earlier but completely spaced out the your post. Sorry!
