Who all is active here? Just wondering because I've been speedrunning this occasionally and I think I've found some strats that would be cool to share

please show strats that could make times faster the only 2 i know about is the invincible objective bug and the ladder flying glich.

Sure! There's a couple skips Oggy and I found so far in our speedruns. They haven't been verified yet iirc so you can't see them yet (well, they're on my yt channel actually, if you really want to) but you can skip the first drawbridge and later jump around the corner in the Silver Key room in Hogmarsh just by using groundpounds to boost you upwards a bit. In Stonefrost you can use the same concept to boost up over the wall to kill the minotaur faster and get the Silver Key there.

That's all I remember for now, so hopefully that helps

oHh also, in Wailing Mines you can use the bookshelves to jump over the back wall in the library and save a couple seconds, and then return back that way by using the bed. Also in Wailing Mines, you can save a tiny bit of time by destroying the fort until it reaches ~90% gone, and then climb up the ladder and finish up at the top where there's a watchtower thing. It helps a bit if you're getting swarmed by piggies

For some tech that I use on runs, I'm doing something I'll call "attack canceling" where I press attack and then mash attack + dodge so I get invincibility and faster sword and dual knife attacks. This is usable on bosses except for the Wailing Mines one.

I don't understand in your restwater valley run how you are not taking contact dmg from the boss i have attempted this many times your “attack cancelling” i can not get this to work i press attack and than mash doge + attack and i do go faster sword swings but i still move forward a lot is there something im doing wrong do you know if this is controller specific?

I have experimented with the mouse and keyboard controls and yeah, it is controller only cause for some reason mashing attack with dodge still makes you move unlike the controller which doesn't move you when done correctly.
