Hey, instead of cutscene trigger at the end, can't we just end the time on the final frag against xaero? Way easier to pinpoint (and i've been verifying thinking it stopped there until now honestly) and makes the most sense as it's the last thing you do in the run.
It's not so much that it's necessary more than it's really easier to time that way. I've been timing my runs that way so far (and verifying runs with that too) without realising it said something else in the rules tbh. Also in general i spam at the end of the run and instantly skip the last cutscene.
OK then, I'll change the rules. So I only have to retime all runs that were NOT verified by you?
Well I'm the one who messed up initially and also brought that up so I don't mind going through the list myself. As you said it's really minor but yeah, still better to keep it consistent. I'll have a look later today.
Alright I went through the entire LB. And holyshit it was a mess.
Half of the runs were actually already timed on last frag, including the record. Some runs start the timer poorly (during the first loading) so I roughly estimated the time difference (i'm not gonna framecount some run at the mid of the LB to determine for sure which second it is). A few videos are missing (4th, 9th and 18th), probably due to Twitch URL changes. I don't think it does any harm if the runs stay in the LB. 20th run was off by more than a minute because the guy added all the ingame timers together to determine his time instead of real time. 22nd run didn't reset the game as far as i can tell (and also started the timer when gaining control of the char in dm0 so it was quite off). The run is 2 years old though and the guy prolly not around anymore so it would feel overkill to remove it. I'll just roll with it (even with extra cutscene loads, it wouldn't affect his ranking). 26th run actually paused the game & timer in q3tourney4 so I added the duration of the pause to his time (roughly 19s).
All in all, the LB should be pretty consistent and accurate atm. A few old runs with missing videos and such, I can live with that.
