Hey guys. I've been trying to perfect my instant KOs but i seem to have an issue with Glass Joe. I get 3 stars at the beginning of the fight, then go into a star punch when he does his Vive la France move but it never results in an instant ko, He just gets knocked down to a 9 count. I'm wondering if my timing may be off or if they are any other rules I don't know about. From videos I've watched I seem to be doing it correctly but maybe there's something I'm unaware of. For reference I am running the game on dolphin emulator, so any help would be appreciated.

the timing would need to work so that u hit him right as he tries to walk towards u, if ur going for wr then right when he stands back, use either 6 alternate punches or dodge 5 times to time the hit easier

Five dodges won't work, it has to be two dodges and three quick dodges. The punches will help, but they aren't a true buffer, so you still have to time it.

my mistake, i didn’t realize the dodges were different, i suppose i should’ve known since i tried it myself and it didn’t work
