This folder includes every single split file for every Main Category, Miscellaneous Category and Category Extension in Outlast, Outlast Whistleblower and Outlast 2. (Excluding Outlast 2's No CPK) Autosplitter is set up for every single file.

This needs to be put in your outlast folder. It's useful for when you're doing drying ground boostup on amd (which you need the 32 bit version to do when on amd) or if you just want to launch it without steam.

32 bit launcher

This zip file contains every checkpoint for the main campaign of Outlast and the Whistleblower DLC with instructions on how to install included. Feel free to use for practice purposes. If you don't own the Whistleblower DLC the saves for Whistleblower will not work.

**EDIT:** Recently it was discovered that it is possible to get **all checkpoints / saves** by pressing **F6** in the main menu **credits**. This essentially makes downloading saves redundant because the new find is easier to do. Have fun using it!

i created this for newcomers so they see every descriptions of the tool and download that tool if they want too.

A_Tool_Downloader

I coded a new launcher for Outlast specifically made for speedrunners.

- It automatically launches the game with a custom version of speedrunhelper (made by lanylow)

- Just like the regular speedrunhelper you'll have access to checkpoints, but you'll also have commands for toggling freecam, teleporting to freecam, and toggling godmode

- Allows you to launch the game with 64/32bits, and 62/61.81FPS

- Allows you to easily customize your bindings for debug commands (includes the custom commands from speedrunhelper)

- Allows you to launch the game with modifications for Macca% and All Doors Unlocked

- Allows you to install the windowed borderless mod (also made by lanylow), and change some game options

- Everything should be explained in the help tab from the launcher

You can install it by putting it in your Outlast game folder and launch it from there. (If you are on Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Outlast).

If you really want to, you can also replace the original launcher by renaming it OutlastLauncher.exe, and launch it from the steam interface., and launch it from the steam interface.

Better Outlast Launcher

This mod adds borderless window funcionality. It solves the common freezing issues and allows you to put LiveSplit over the game while playing in fullscreen.

Installation instructions:

1. Open the directory where Outlast is installed.
2. Open the archive you downloaded from this post.
3. If you're playing on the 64-bit version of the game, extract **64\dinput8.dll** into **Outlast\Binaries\Win64**, otherwise extract **32\dinput8.dll** into **Outlast\Binaries\Win32** (extract just the **dinput8.dll** file, not the **64** or **32** directory).
4. Open the game and enable fullscreen in settings, the game should now be in borderless window mode.

**Warning!** If you want to put LiveSplit over the game, make sure to go to **Edit Layout > Layout Settings** and turn on **Always on Top** and **Ignore Mouse While Running and Not In Focus**!

DefaultInput_Creator

IL Splits for Every Chapter [Maingame]

Replace this with the one built into Livesplit if you want to use it. Splits every single time you pass a checkpoint, instead of the customizable one. There should be around 95 splits for main game glitchless and around 35 for wb glitchless (Don't know the exact number). If there's any issues with this post in the Discord, use the guide for the customizable autosplitter in the guides section to help set this up.

Mattmatt's Old Autosplitter

New version of the original speedrun helper with some improvements and new features:

- Works for both 32 and 64 bit versions of the game
- Prevents dying from fall damage when teleporting while the character is falling
- Allows you to teleport your character to wherever you are while using freecam *(in order to enable freecam you will need to use in-game commands)*
- Allows you to make your character invincible by enabling god mode

Speedrun Helper 2021 Updated

A rule says that you have to use vanilla (unmodded) content of outlast. With this tool you can simply switch from modded to unmodded or the opposite thing to quickly change and run the game.. It will automatically detect if you are using vanilla/modded... Little timesaver as a glitch-hunter and speedrunner :3

After discussing this a lot, me and the **Mod Team** decided that **Buttbounces** are now **officially allowed** in the **Glitchless** category! 

Why the change?

- A **buttbounce** is only a **visual effect**, it behaves exactly like a **regular jump**.
- **Buttbounces** only save about **3-4 fram
