Speedrun of Mystery World Dizzy using Bizhawk emulator.
This is the world record on publication.
Mystery World is a recreation of Dizzy 3 that was planned for the NES but went unreleased until it was revived for the 30th Anniversary.
There are 2 sequence breaks in the run.
- Obtaining the shield without the Dragon Egg
- Skipping the flippers for the underwater section
The are 4 intended death warps in my route but I only managed to get 2 of them. I decided to attempt to get back after getting the aqua lung which was successful. And i somehow didn't die to the dragon when leaving with the shield.
The Frogs are the worse part of this game, they spawn in randomly in the area and jump randomly too. I somehow didn't die to the first frog.
