Hell yeah! This run went basically as planned- a reasonably quick Barrel Batter followed by a 2-inning match of baseball with 21 plate appearances on offense and 6 on defense. The defensive outs that weren't strikeouts or the Laser were very fast and my batting was mostly on point: no replays, just home run trots, which are expected. I was extraordinarily lucky to get the bobble for my Banana Ball RBI- I definitely was not tagging up properly and almost certainly would not have been able to properly convert the sacrifice fly if Noki R had made the catch. (Honestly, I should have made better contact, so that I didn't need luck in the first place.)

I committed to putting DK third in the lineup for this run because I badly wanted a 2-inning finish and sub-10-minute time. This is slower than the optimal strategy of getting a solo HR as DK to start the match with DK at the very top of the lineup, but the chemistry from Diddy and Dixie really does help with the slugging and resetting for the solo repeatedly can be demoralizing, so it's a reasonable trade-off. If this is beaten in the future, I'm probably going to be running with DK at the front. I am satisfied for now, though. This was a really solid effort.
