so in this category of the game (100%) I must complete it in a single run or I can take breaks?
in the rules it seems like timer breaks are not a thing, timer runs all the way through; you wanna take a break during the run go ahead, but timer will be running during it
Idle time is limited to 5 seconds per track. You'd be playing 160 tracks, since you'd be playing each track 5 times. So yes, you can take a break as long as the total time does not exceed 800 seconds, or 13 minutes 20 seconds.
in a 100% speedrun you cannot take breaks to save time as it is timed with RTA (Real Time Attack) which is used due to how the category is set.
if it was an IGT category it would work like how Mario4thew1n explained it.
its gonna be a long category anyways if you need to take a break the timer will just keep going. if you want you dont have to skip the credits and take a small break there but you can soft reset the console during the credits and it will save time anyways.
