Rise of the Ratmen is a time-based map - you can't win until day 24 when Roden and 6 broken sewer mains appear. So my strategy here is to get a lot of money and use lightning strike to kill Roden and the broken sewer mains.

In the end Roden didn't show up on the east side of the map like I expected and prepared for. Instead, I destroyed all the broken sewer mains and my heroes killed Roden before I located him.

This strategy could be improved by:

1. getting lucky and having Roden spawn on day 23.5 instead of 24.5
2. putting wizard towers at all sewer entrances. Roden can spawn at any of them and I would have been in trouble if he did
3. watching the minimap to see where Roden spawns instead of wasting time looking for him
