(While I'm posting this, this does not mean I'm planning to make a run for this game that I love)

So for low-ends and some mid tier pc's, recording/streaming will cause some lag, so I'm just wondering (even if this type of topic was answered a while ago) will there be any effect on the submission of the run or recording if the resolution was, let's say 800x600, small compared to someone with a 1920x1080 because of performance, this was basically what i had to do so my twitch test streams didn't run like total a$

As long as it is clear and readable enough for the verifiers to use for verification purposes it is fine. Generally a computer from 2014-ish era can play AND record this game without taking any kind of performance hit at 720p 60 FPS fairly well. Considering I have recorded the game in the past on a system rocking a GTX 750 Ti and an Intel Q9400.(both are from 2013 - 2014)

I would recommend posting the specifications of the system in question so other people who might know little bit more could tell if it is a actual hardware limitation issue or something else that might be fixable is a thing to always give a try.

And what is considered "clear and readable" For verifiers when they look through the run before it is either turned down or added to the leaderboards is that if you can through-out the whole run, clearly see the HUD elements [Health, ammo etc.] AND it is clear enough to tell a apart the gray skybox from a special infected.

Basically it has to be watchable so the person watching and can tell you are playing without addons and to tell what map you are on. (And hopefully they could tell what game you were playing too.)

the hyperlinks I attached in this message lead to the manufactures sites of the PC parts I mentioned and as a bonus I even dug up the video I mentioned to have recorded and looking good, well you can be the judge of that yourself but to me that looks enough to be verified and put on the leaderboard.

I believe it is some type of hardware issue as my computer definitely has some type of problem, such as something i suspect of a faulty ram or faulty system files, this is not a forum for a hardware fix so I won't elaborate anymore further than that about my pc (except it's an AMD Radeon) but there is definitely some type of problem. But yeah I just wanted some clarifications that this doesn't have any issue or problem that will occur if i attempted to do it in the future
