As title says, is it required or not? The rules currently don't specify it, and the Le Mans race gives three extra sponsors so I'd like to clear that up.

If i'm not wrong, the only trackable measure are the trophies. A true 100% would include all race series, Le Mans, and be 1st in both Team and Driver ranking.
I feel it's better to leave it as it is, open for discussions.
Hey guys! I know this discussion and this game in general is dead in a way, but I just submitted my 100% run.
I did Le Mans because imo it should count because it unlocks sponsors by winning, just like all the other trophies. So...I did it too and honestly, 12 minutes are nothing in a 10 hour run.
Ye, I agree with Speedey. 100% should unlock everything there is to unlock and win everything there is to win, so you would have nothing else to do... you know, 100% completion.
I really think the rules should be cleaned up on this site though, I might start looking into this game myself too, I've quite enjoyed my first time single player campaign of this game.
Well, for 100% there's only this thing missing. Saying "all medals" is a bit ambiguous, because all medals should imply the Le Mans win as it unlocks sponsors just like winning the other championships. And "Starts when entering Grid World, ends at the finish line beating Ravenwest." from the Any% category can be copied 1:1.
Now my run's confirmed I'm playing with the idea of doing another one, because it was very fun although not very optimised as I even slept for a couple of seconds on a straight and crashed into the finish line. Would like some competitors though, the game is great and with the new GRID coming up the first game in the series should get its fair share of attention, even though its just some speedrunners.
I'm still playing through the campaign and if I am to start doing runs then they will be single lap runs. I really don't have the stamina or time to do 100% as it takes waaaay too long and the any % is really not fun since it's less actual driving and more about menu-ing for at least half an hour.
