Good morning everyone,
Im currently working on Any% route for one game and preparing data for upcomming guide. Right now, I still dont know, which format or type is most used or preferred. I have these in my mind:
- Formatted text with images in Guides tab for the game
- Video format guide on Youtube
- Downloadable/Printable PDF
Every choice has pros and cons, so I decided to ask the community for an opinion - What is your preferred format for the speedrunning guide?

It really depends on the nature of what it is you're providing a guide for.
If it's a general route, then text is better.
If it's showcasing techniques, then video is better.
if its just a route, then text.
but if its a tutorial then video.
you could alternatively have a text guide with links to videos but that could still be confusing for a new comer and a video would be better
You should post a in-depth video guide on YT, while posting a general one here that sends readers on YT.
