it appears that the wr for the map Castle Tides has an excessive use of the speed boosting glitch. It would be appreciated if it was moved to the Any% category.
how about in any run where someone's strafing to the left/right and jumps it be an any% run problem solved
looks like jacky and blahblah are fighting for the easy world records beating each other with sideways speed in glitchless% and mods don't even care lul and both deny using sideways speed with the response that the other is using sideways speed and that its faster to move sideways

it's sad that you rely on a camera angle for speedruns
maybe instead of using it as an excuse and trying to defend it when you honestly shouldn't, maybe just do any% wr's instead because clearly that's what youre used to
also, the camera angle in sm64 doesn't give you a speed boost due to the scripting of the walk animation like it does in fe2
It's not the communities fault that you lack the skill or the motivation to do a speedrun without going sideways. Jumping sideways simply creates the speedboost I'm talking about. If you can't fix it, then stick to doing Any% runs because using the glitch is invalid in runs if you like it or not.

I'm gonna try to simplify things. Going sideways using either the normal glitch or the VIP glitch is NOT CHEATING. Speed glitch... 1.Makes you go faster 2.Is another way to escape a map 3.Useful for Any% or Late Flood% Going faster using both of the glitch is not a way to cheat. Cheating is like... 1.Flying 2.Infinite air 3.Speed HACK So here is a way to solve this mayhem. 1.Divide Any% into 2 2.One is Speed Glitch% and the other is VIP Speed Glitch% 3. All Glitchless% WRs that uses speed glitch for going faster and not for pressing buttons will be going to Speed Glitch% 4.Thus,other Glitchless% WRs that uses speed glitch for pressing buttons will stay 5.Therefore,Any% WRs that uses VIP speed glitch will go to VIP Speed Glitch% Easy right? going sideways can be a preference, just like how some people use shiftlock, some use first person and some just go normal 3rd person. And I just want to point out the fact that everyone has to follow the rules not just the WR runs, Speedrunning is a hobby you don't have to have World record runs. (And we can't ban people)

Please enlighten me to why using a speed glitch in a run isn't a valid reason to remove it from a category where speed glitches aren't supposed to be used. I would really like to know.
The speed glitch only works if you are jumping sideways. If people do better with sideways they should just turn forwards when it's more optimal to jump at a certain spot in a run. Its an easy fix...
