Hey Guys, thanks for your suggestions.
First of all I'm glad new ppl is joining to this community.
So when Dennis started this game on speedrun it wasn't a huge research about the game or any other comparision. That's the reason that we didnt had separated categories.
With that said, I need to do the studies of the version differences and see if we must separate the versions of the game or if the version differences are not relevant. One thing you need to take in consideration is we are a pretty small community so far. so any change like this could affect the "atraction" for new runners.
In the end, the main categories of this game are the Full Runs, and that's we need to check in first place instead of individual levels, that i'm assuming is the main reason of this topic.
Anyway, whatever we found with the version differences we should make a poll to take in consideration your opinions.
That's all for now
I think the general rule is that when there are PC and console versions for the same game, time without loads should be preferred over real time so the times can be fairly compared. In this case perhaps that would be just the sum of race times? Including the menu times precisely could be pretty complicated without custom tools. The other option could be separating platforms altogether but that could alienate the player(s) of the less popular platform so should be avoided if possible at all.
