Hi all, been practicing this game lately, and was wondering what the rules around emblems spawning from candles are?

I've mostly been able to follow along the current routes, but I'm having trouble ensuring that I get into the 'powered up' state for specific areas/fights (e.g. golem boss).

Not sure whether it relies on gem count, number of candles destroyed etc. Any info appreciated!

@impulse87 I apologize for seeing this late. I've just uploaded the Controls and Mechanics of the game(which 90% of it applies to John as well) and also an Eric Normal tutorial that should prove helpful in the guides section.
