Best Brawlers For Speedruns (Google translator)

Hey, friends, today I come to make a list of what in my opinion are the best brawlers to accompany others on a speedrun.

(with all these I see them more useful in speedruns of 50 or 100 trophies)

-Shelly, I find it too broken, especially on maps with walls, highly recommended.

-Jessie, it can be used more in closed maps due to its basic bouncing, very useful for doing kills.

-Jacky, is also quite fast killing, and has a lot of life, the only bad thing is that it does not break walls, and that the super can delay a bit of seconds, but it really gets it very fast, so it does not seem so much a problem.

-Frank, this brawler may seem very bad, but it really combines practically the two previous concepts, shelly's super, the ease of killing with Jessie, I think it is one of the best to accompany a speedrun, I only find one defect, it is quite a lot slow attacking.

-El Primo, with his nerf, I see him a little more useless than before, but it is quite comfortable to play with him, because the super is achieved quite quickly and unlike Frank he is quite fast attacking, another that I highly recommend

Brawl Ball Maps (July 2024)

# What is the fastest Brawl Ball map?

### If you are running milestone runs (total trophies in an account or a brawler) the fastest way to do it is undoubtedly brawl ball. But what maps are the fastest?

As of now, the only brawl ball maps with an open path from the centre to the goal are Goalkeeper's Dream and Super Beach. Every other map is simply slower because it requires breaking or walking around walls.

**Goalkeeper's Dream** is much easier to execute, even with the update that added small walls to the sides it is relatively easy to get the ball and get within scoring range. This should be the chosen map for runs with no movement (as it gives you more time to shoot bots before they reach the ball) or runs where you are playing against real people, if you are using long range controllers and/or damage dealers.

**Super Beach** is faster as it has spawnpoints closer to the centre, but it is slightly more difficult to get a clean run on. The bots will start shooting you as soon as the game starts and will beat you to the ball on the second goal unless you have movement abilities. You have a much shorter time to get rid of them, so I recommend using this map only with brawlers that have high splash damage or that have a movement or knockback ability available at the start of round 2. You also need to shoot the ball between the unbreakable wall and the fences on the sides which is easy to do once, but you will miss at some point.

All and all, Super Beach is the fastest map if done correctly, but Goalkeeper's Dream gives you more margin for error, losing you less time per mistake in comparison.

Colt Usage (Silver Bullet Tips and Colt Overview)

With the new Silver Bullet introduced to the game (sadly got nerfed a few weeks later), the skills with his mechanics are almost endless. Here’s one tip and trick for every game mode:
-Gem Grab
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, it’s possible to wipe out the gem carrier (if they're a sharpshooter, thrower, etc.) and then let your gem carrier in your team get the gems (then bush camp while the countdown is still ticking).
-Solo Showdown
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, he can use this in case he gets stuck by surrounding walls, objects, and stuff like that. Plus, if you’re lucky, you can destroy another person in the match.
-Duo Showdown
Just the same like Solo Showdown, except with another person by your side.
-Brawl Ball
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, he can use it for easier goals (Example: when you wanna shot straight but there are walls, so you just clear it with that) and prevent other players to score by sniping them.
-Bounty
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, he can use it for sniping other players who try to get to your teammates (and to get star player).
-Siege
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, he can prevent the enemies from getting the bolts and building the robots. It can also be useful for chipping away the robot’s health so it won’t do much damage to the Ike turret.
-Heist
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, he can use it for sniping other players (to not go to the safe), and the safe to deal, damage to it.
-Hot Zone
With Colt’s Silver Bullet, he can snipe the enemies to not get to the zones.

Colt% (Solo) Strategie.

In Colt% it only depends on how quickly you can reach 60 trophies in a certain time. 

 I did a bit of testing and noticed that there are games at the beginning of the first 3 Gem Grab (bot) games and in the 4 game of the Gem Grab it is a real PvP. 

The next step would be to select Showdown as soon as possible from the award table (32 Trophies)..! The next 3 showdown games are again only (BOT) games. ((Now comes the strategy to save a little time, Duo-Showdown starts and you have another 3rd (BOT) game in Showdown. Saves 10-20s maybe more with good Map!)) 
((You don't necessarily have to do more in Duo Showdown, you can go straight to Solo.))

Colt% Strategy

So, let's talk Colt%-ing!

So, first, you want to play 4 games of gem grab with shelly, and then 3 games of Solo SD with Nita if solo. If co-op make sure someone has duo showdown and play 7 games of that. Get your free brawl pass big box before playing, this should get shelly to power 2/3.

So, when you're playing your gem grab with shelly, the first thing to remember is to be greedy with gems, as you'll be matched up with bots and noobs (no offense to starting players). So get all the gems so they don't get killed and give them gems, wasting precious seconds for the new gems to come out.

Then get Nita and showdown (you will have to get a few boxes first) and play only solos. Nita is better than shelly as she can attack multiple boxes and brawlers at once. Then, win 3 games by killing as many bots as possible, and pick up Colt! With this in mind, 10 minutes shouldn't be too hard and you should be able to smash my time!

I do know about the free barley with Supercell ID, but he just isn't needed for this short run, it's only better for Bull% and on

Loading Screen Skip

I’m pretty sure most people know about this, but ever since the Tara’s Bazaar update if you spam tap right as the game ends you can skip through the all the animations. You’ll still want to run out your tokens as the token animations don’t change or slightly speed up, but this can save seconds in shorter runs and even minutes in longer ones.

## New account without SuperCell account (Android only)
The first one is deleting the data of Brawl Stars, to do this go to Settings > Applications > Brawl Stars > Storage > Delete all data, once you start the game after doing this you'll start from the tutorial. 
**IMPORTANT**: Make sure of connecting your main account with Supercell ID before doing this methods, otherwise you'll lose all your progress


## New SuperCell account (with Gmail)
You can abuses the fact that Gmail accounts don't take dots (.) in count to create accounts, with this method you can create an E-Mail account and use it infinitely by just adding dots in the middle, 
for example imagine that I create an E-mail named vakala@gmail.com, that adress can be used to create a Supercell Account with:
- vakala@gmail.com 
- v.a.k.a.l.a@gmail.com 
- v.akala@gmail.com - Etc.

You can also abuse the fact Gmail permit to create "aliases" for email adresses with '+'
For example, if I have the Email adresse vakala@gmail.com , that adress can be used to create a Supercell Account with:
- vakala+account1@gmail.com 
- vakala+account2@gmail.com

# Free Barley
If you create a Suppercell account you will win a Barley skin and if you don't have yet barley, you also unlock Barly

# Run Shelly trophies in showdown or brawlball
With the previous trick you unlock Barley and use him to unlock new modes without play Shelly

# Skip coin animation
After a match, you can skip the winning coins animation by typping on the screen

Maps needed for runs.

So in the runs, you need very different maps because every TrophyRoad% is different. If you're doing it co-op, you just need a good brawl ball map with a clear path like Super Stadium or Jumping Beans (I know, this is quoted from DeuceFold on the Tick% guide), and possibly DSD if it is long enough that one of you may quit as randoms can kill co-op runs. This applies to them all, from Colt% up to Stu%. For solo colt and bull, you should get a good gem grab map, as it can shave off the seconds. Any map with plenty of walls is good for Shelly super. This won't matter for Jessie onward. These shorter runs also need a good SSD map, forsaken falls is the go-to. However, in all solo runs other than Colt (for obvious reasons), you will definitely need a good brawl ball map.

Playing 3v3s other than BB just kills time.

Memorizing Gem Grab Spawns

In the most recent update, Supercell made a change to remove all RNG from gem spawns. It's actually pretty easy to memorize the order of spawns and is a huge help in removing GG resets in colt%.

The gems will always have the same spawn positions, at least in your first four games. You are able to get the first six gems by alternating between the top middle and the bottom middle of the gem mine, starting with the bottom. The way I like to think about it is if the number of gems spawned is odd, go to the top of the mine. If it's even, go to the bottom of the mine.

The last four spawns are a little harder to remember, but it's not bad. The 7th will be bottom left, the 8th will be opposite that, the 9th will be bottom right and the 10th spawn will be opposite that. Typically then you will be able to run back for the countdown or easily pick up the 11th if you only have 8-9 gems.

Piper Usage

Here i have some tips if me actually use, to improve with piper.

First: NEVER... NEVER use the autofire, thats the worst thing you can do with Piper.

Second: Try to predict enemies moves, shoot in front of the position to where they was walking to hit it.

Third: If you have some of the star powers, improve the habilities of both.

Be prepared for a LONG RUN. 

If you're going with friends make sure to plan out meals, bathroom breaks, and when you will open boxes to try for new brawlers because it could take 11+ hours and these things need to be planned or it will be chaotic and eat away at your time. And make sure your squad is down for over 10 hours of brawl ball...

I'd recommend starting an account for the run way ahead of time (Because we need accounts to be free to play) and grabbing daily rewards to try to unlock extra brawlers ahead of time, this can allow you to face more bots during matches when you're under 100ish trophies. 

If you're doing it solo, you're a madman and good luck, but if co-op, make sure one of your teammates unlocks brawl ball before the run so you can immediately start off in brawl ball. If solo just get brawl ball asap.

One thing I wish I did was prepare my run based on what maps will be available, so make sure to check out Brawl Stats' web page to see what map Brawl Ball will be, I'd only recommend running when its a pretty clear path to the goal so you can get very fast goals. 

When you need to get 4k trophies, you won't be able to do the whole run as 1 team of 3 brawlers so you need to also plan out team comps ahead of time. I'd recommend having at least 1 brawler who can consistently break walls on your teams. 

Make sure everyone on your team has supercell ID so you can get Barley for free, with just Barley and Shelly, you'll unlock 7 Brawlers just from trophy road alone netting you 9 brawlers to work with. If you use my tip from before it can be easy to get another 1-3 brawlers in a couple weeks but then it slows down a lot. Throughout the run you should also plan on getting 2-3 new brawlers unlocked as you WILL open quite a few boxes. If you start with 4, get the 7 from trophy road, and unlock 3, you'll have 14 brawlers you can push to get to 4k trophies. This means 4000/14=286 trophies per brawler. This is not the hardest trophy count to reach but games in the 200's do slow down and some team comps you may want to take further and some team comps not as far, plan this out with your squad.

Finally, make sure you can communicate with your team during the run, in game chat would actually kill a run because time typing could be time brawling, so set up a voice chat, be in person, or have some way of talking to your squad. This is important for calling out brawl ball plays, when to open boxes, and what brawlers to swap to.

Also, make sure you play with your phone plugged in, because with such a long run your phone would die otherwise ;)

With these tips you should be able to smash my World First time and make the category more competitive!

Trophy Animation Skip

When you finish a game, after pressing the proceed button there is a short animation that tells you how many trophies you gained or lost. But you can skip it, which many pepole don’t so.
It saves 1 second each time it’s peformed, so it isn’t a big timesave, but it’s useful in shorter runs such as nita%.
You need to spam where the proceed button should be with two of your fingers (Watch the linked video) to skip the animation.
